I remember seeing this really cool reality TV show on NBC awhile back called The Mole. The idea was, the people in the show would do challenges to increase the prize money, but there was a mole in the group who tried to bring the pot down. He/she would intentionally screw people up, answer wrong in trivia competitions, etc. At the end of each round (which on the show lasted a few days), everyone would take a quiz over what had happened beforehand. Some would be "who is the mole" type questions, and some would be over details of the challenges, people, etc. Whoever got the lowest score, and was not the mole, was eliminated. I got to thinking, "Wouldn't it be cool if there were something like that on PPT?" I considered it for a long time, and I think I can actually make this happen. It should be really fun, and even more fun writing the questions. Here's an outline of what will happen:

The prize money will be in Neopoints. The final total will depend on you (though it will probably land around 100K or so, but that is EXTREMELY variable). If you don't play Neopets, it's okay. I'll either let you give the money to someone else, or just forfeit it

The first twelve people to sign up here will be guaranteed into the game. People after that (if there are any *hope, hope*) will be put in a waiting list.

The MOLE could be any one of you. I'll include more details in your PM, but the jist of it is, you want to keep that pot as low as possible. If you win, you get more points depending on how low the pot was.

The winning condition is dependent on your role, and will occur when it gets down to three people:

The MOLE wins if neither remaining player gets a high enough score on his/her final exam.

A NON-MOLE wins if he/she gets a high enough score AND successfully guesses the identity of the mole.

Every week or so, each round will end with a quiz over what happened in the round. It'll probably be about 15-20 questions, whose answers you will PM to me. Some you might be able to look up, some will be educated guessing, and some will be deduction. Whoever gets the lowest score, and is not the mole, is eliminated from the competition. There is no voting off in this. In case of a tie, the lowest cumulative score will lose.

I will start the story when enough people sign up. Other people who want to be on the waiting list can still sign up afterwards. You will be replaced if you go more than two consecutive days without a new post. Replacements will be first come, first serve. In case you don't get the hint, be active as much as possible. I hope this can be a fun game for everyone.

I like House pretty much sums it up. o_o I like movies, TV and anime... not a lot of music though. (Does brief mean this brief, or longer brief?)

I have black hair, brown eyes and I wear a pair of blue, rimless glasses. I'm also very skinny. Err... Typical chinese stereotype except without the bowl haircut?

I wanted more of a physical description, like "wears a red shirt, has blond hair," etc. But that stuff works too. You don't need to change it.

Do descriptions have to be you, or a character you make up?

I mostly like to read or watch documentaries on TV. I'm what you would call intellectual without being nerdy.

He likes playing Werewolf on various forums, and enjoys computer and console games. He likes to watch television, and refer to himself in the third person.

Just make up your character. After all, I don't have cameras keeping track of what you look like in real life(actually, I do).

Oh well. We just need a couple more people to sign up, and then we can get started. Remember, after we get the original 12, I'll start a waiting list in case people need to get substituted out.

Also, in the show, a lot of the challenges were physically intensive. Since we can't do that here, I'm going to have a hard time thinking of original challenges to do for this, so if anyone has any ideas, that would be cool. I've already got the first few planned out, but if you have suggestions, send them my way.

It was done, but a LOOOOONG time ago (like 2 years ago I think). It's good to have it back again.

Though I think yours is going to be done in a completely different way, you can try finding one of the old Mole Threads and using those for ideas. All of those were done in real-time though, but I'm sure some of them can be adapted though.
