I agree, there's somthing...RUSHED about the Uni. The lines are thick too. The art just dosn't look right.

Pardon me, but that is by far the crappiest Mutant pet they've made. It's a horrible redraw of the basic Uni model draw with more horrible exaggerations. It's supposed to be guesome looking, not that (at least I expected a mutated Uni with a Sleipnir aspect of multiple legs.)

It reminds me of the Darigan Uni in some ways.

All they did too it was make the wings pointy, and changed the mane. Oh, and it's face is a little deformed. That's about it.

It looks old.. it looks like something that would have been drawn a couple years ago. In other words, it already needs a redraw. >.<' I REALLY hope they don't release that. They should release the faerie Eyrie instead. >.> <.<

It's really irritating when they release horribly-drawn pets and let gorgeous ones like the faerie eyrie or grey draik sit in limbo on the servers (or get deleted altogether). I hope that uni is a joke, because it's terrible. The proportions are all off (and not in a "mutant" way, but in a "legs don't bend that way" way), the colors are dull (that's mainly what makes it look like old art), the wings and tail are shapeless blobs... there's just nothing about it I like.

That can't be a serious color. I mean, it just looks... bad. I don't mean bad like "its a horrible idea" but the artwork itself looks terrible compared to some of the other new colors.

If the artwork was better it'd look fine(not the best mutant pet, but still an okay color), but... wow.

Ew. That looks awful. I'm not a fan of the Unis to begin with, but man....

That mutant uni is one horribly drawn pet. I don't understand why they come out with some of these terrible pets. Like Cranberry said, they need to release some of those pet colors that are currently in limbo instead of releasing the awful colors such as this mutant uni. Boo TNT

There are some amazing colors out there...it's times like these where I appreciate them, despite the occasion where I don't even like the species. I hate getting off-topic, but I couldn't help but put my two cents worth in. I feel bad for the artist who made it, since I can't imagine anyone liking it, but surely they could have put more effort into it...

When I first saw the very mention of this so called "Mutant Uni" I almost posted without reading further. I was going to say that's probably an old version left over some years ago, but I'm absolutely shocked to notice it has the same overall pose as the most recent Uni. If they release this, I'm going to be worrying about Neopet's future quality. If they dare put forth some 2 minute child's scribble that is nothing but a paste over to marr the poor thing with some disformed features and pointy wings, I'm going to have an absolute fit. I've seen enough bad art in only the past few months-- though I'm not going to point at particular species that start with an "O"-- this takes the cake.

And I hate to say this but.. I can't even imagine, if you were to own one, what gender it would be. It's too.. feminine to be male, and too masculine to be female. Kind of reminds me of something from Rocky Horror Picture Show, you know?.
