i wish that there was a way to keep our bday sidebar. between the yellow and the rather dreary lost desert one (of course is the one i use cause its better then yellow) the bday sidebar is the one i would like to use the most on a perminent basis. not just today and neopets bday. it picks up ur spirits so much

That reminds me of the Fairly Odd Parents episode when Timmy wishes that it was christmas everyday and everyone starts to hate him.

Personally I think it's extra special when it comes on, on your birthday, but I do agree that there's not enough sidebars to choose from at the moment.

Maybe we could have the sidebar for the whole week in which our birthday falls. That way we have more chance to appreciate it. On my last birthday I was out the entire day and didn't even look at my computer, so I missed out.

So was I. I was in Florida for a class trip, I didn't get back until the day after my birthday. I was very sad.

I'd still like it if they made just regular color options for everyone to use, other than yellow. Like red, green, and blue.

I agree, my birthday was over finals week, which wasn't fun in itself, and I missed out on the sidebar. Or at least we should have some nice, easy to get options.

I second that...like basic pet colors! I've written to the editorial several times, obviously to no avail. It seems like such an easy thing to do since they don't have to do anything but recolor the existing standard sidebar.

One thing I have loved sidebars for is to differentiate between accounts. Everyone who has a side account knows that there is that inevitable day when you forget you were on your side and start to play games/dailies. I haven't done that once since I got a sidebar for my main. If my sidebar is yellow I know not to touch anything, lol.

But yeah...the Birthday one is special, why have it all year? Reminds me of a friend's kid, when she was a toddler...she thought every time someone had a birthday it meant it was HER birthday again

Does the sidebar increase the number of R/E's you get then?

Supposedly...but I got fewer RE's than normal on my birthday

What's sad is this year I am working it so that I can play Neopets on my birthday instead of being out for most of the day and evening Pretty easy to do since it falls on a Wednesday ;D Last year I only got maybe two or three hours total playing, and that included while I was brushing my teeth, yacking on the phone, replying to birthday emails, etc.

And for the sidebar- I got a piece of the secret lab map while playing NeoQuest II.

Same! Only 11 days to go. I'm going to play pyramids and NQ II as much of the day as I can (no celebration that day anyway) ro try for good RE's. Last year I merely became very friendly with Adee the Chia though.
