That's only NQ1. You have one NQ2 game per account. If you were on NQ1, well, things sometimes get funky and screw up like that(one time it told me I didn't have a game, so I put in my 7 starting skill points and then BAM I was back in the Jungle Ruins, but with 7 extra points).

What mode are you on? I think level 10 is enough for normal mode, but for insane its 12-13?

Also make sure you have enough healing potions with you (4-5)

Nice Ducky, was it hard? and in Evil, do the monsters drop weapons in Meridell, or the later chapters? I was wondering because I'm still in the lost desert, but I decided to leave neopets, because it got really boring. :)

Hey Pat, where are you and general nonsense going? I guess to the festivities of sophisticos!

it was kinda hard, especially because he can pack a nice punch (about 1/3 of my total HP) and he can heal. towards the end, I was afraid that he would finish me off, but I got lucky and he missed.

as for monsters dropping weapons, I'm pretty sure that they do, but so far, I haven't had anybody drop anything..

I was about to say, for evil wait till lv 11 or 12. Glad you beat him :)

And yes, monsters do drop weapons, but infrequently. I got my first monster dropped weapon in meridell, after picking up mipsy

well, first I tried at 10, and was getting my butt whooped, so I fled and leveled up till 11, then tried again and beat him.

weapon wise, same here, just after getting Mipsy, I got some armour from a monster.

if a party member dies, but gains a level, do they stay dead or does their health get restored?

They stay dead, and they dont gain any exp for that battle. Thats what restore potions are for (i think thats what they're called). Make sure to have 2-3 of em on you at all times during the game after getting mipsy.

That's not true. If they die but gain enough exp to get a level(and they'll get fewer points than the party members who stay alive) they get fully healed.

Cool, I didnt know that. When mipsy died for me, she didnt gain any exp, but then she was nowhere near a levelup.
