Well, my friend PMed me that they had thier shopkeeper changed on them to this llama thing. Since the new ones are in the 1580s and the llama ones are 1290s they had to replace old ones, right?

The staff leave gaps every now and then to make it harder to find new material they want kept hush hush as much as possible while still being able to upload things early onto their 100 or so servers to reduce stress when it comes news time.

They do the same with shops some times

Sometimes I think TNT should just let users design the pets for them. No disrespect to the artists, they're good at what they do, they're good at that art stuff. However, I don't know what method they're using currently when it comes to okaying designs, but sometimes I think they need to run new ideas by a test group of actual users. Six random people could've told TNT that the majority of people would be more than a little dissatisfied with Ogrin. Another six random people could've told TNT that changing an already okay pet that people obviously liked in such a dramatic matter would've been a bad idea.

It's like that optical illusion of the old woman that turns into a young woman depending on how you look at it.

I loved the ruki and bori, yurble was ok, xweewok(w/e) was cute, ogrin grew on me... but this.. this MONSTRISITY(sp).... God >o> Neopets needs a new artist.

Where's my cute fuzzy llama with a confuzelled face? Gone - and replaced by a nearly hairless tonu. And we get an akward moehog/giraffe mix, instead of a giant spyder or the Polifint? WHO THE #@*^ IS RUNNING TNT NOWDAYS? I personally want to find them and kick thier rearend

They've taken the most regal and elegant of pets and turned it into a buffoon.

I'm completely crushed. I never would have voted for it either if I knew this was what they were going to do with it.

I could have lived the mane/ruff since I've accepted the fact that they seem incapable of creating a pet without one but what have they done to it's face and ears? Actually now that I've stared a bit longer the mane is quite damaging beacuse it sort of hides the fact that the pet has a long neck. The long neck is a big part of what makes it look like a llama. Without it as others have said...Tonu.

Perhaps some of the colors like Royal or Darigan might improve it but as is I don't think I'll be able to create one.

Why couldn't they have just left it alone?? It was fine the way that it was.

You know, when they released a bunch of the April Fools pets as petpets not a single one of them, (Calabat, Urchull, Duocorn, Gwalla, Slymook) was redrawn. The Carmarilla was recolored but that's it. We would have been better off if they had given us the original Lamameeah as a petpet.

TNT is just so perverse sometimes.

How many times did they re-do the Kougra? I bet if enough people rant and jump down the Team's throat, they'll change it back. Being an artist, I can empathize with whoever drew...THAT...but...I've lost all my patience.

In my opinion, it's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Granted that they took more liberty to make the llama more meshed into the overall art of the site, but it isn't that. I find it interesting that when the CC was released, people were swooning over it more or less and now I'm finding that it's a complete 360.

I believe I remember reading in the editorial that there were some legal issues about releasing the pet, perhaps that's why we're not getting the exact pet that was posted way back in April.

I don't understand! All the petpets they made from the AF pets were used straight out of the box! Why'd they have to mess with this one??

I don't see what you guys have against it. The older one looks pretty... well, plain, and outdated. I love the new one, I just want to cuddle it...

I knew the pet was going to turn out awful when, after the voting was done, TNT announced in the news that they would release the pet after redrawing it.

What's the point of voting if they change the pet completely before releasing it? That ugly thing with the ruff is not the pet that so many people voted for. I hope they get a ton of complaints and change it back into what it was.

As for legal issues, they may have been with the name of the pet, not the design. And I don't remember reading anything about any issues.

I'm glad that the pet I voted for (the Polaflint) didn't win, at least I don't have to see the poor thing get mutated.


I don't know why anyone would accuse TNT of cutifying that pet, because it is very ugly. It looks like someone took a 2x4 and slammed it across the llama's face.
