Anybody else having trouble getting on neopets? the site keeps crashing on me

A lot of people have trouble accessing the site at around midnight NST. Advent calendar rush I guess...

I had a problem initially but its ok now

its been happening the last month or so, ever since neopet's birthday

The site's been loading terribly slow for me. I have a 5 mbps connection and one page takes >10 seconds to load .

endeavourl, it does seem like ever since TNT's birthday, things have been slow. I assumed part of it was my computer (it's been having problems) ... As far as advent, when the new neo-day and new advent is up the site will basically stop working for about 5 to 10 minutes. This has been consistent for me since the beginning of the month. I know to just either not log in till later or wait it out.

Now, tonight, I didn't get to even log in until around 8 pm my time. It's so slow. I'm on cable, using FF. The little circle thing that spins when a page opens? is even moving v-e-r-y slow and pages are either taking forever to load or I keep getting a blank white page saying "done" and I have to refresh. The few games I played even seemed a little slow and weird.

Hopefully this is something temporary and after December is over, things will speed up again.

I've been having problems with games too... The game will suddenly freeze up or play at snail's pace. I only noticed this the past two days after I reformatted my computer, so I thought it was a problem with my PC or flash player.
