I'm not sure if this has been posted already, but, did anyone notice Buried Treasure's price has gone up from 150nps a play to 300? I remember it was something like 300 or 400 a long while ago before they downgraded it to 300.

i just noticed that as well. It went down to 150 several weeks ago, then was even less on Neopets birthday, and now it's back to 300. Wonder why?

This was because on neopets birthday they lowered the price to 150 nps for the rest of November, but because it's December it goes back to the normal price of 300 np!

I'm pretty sure it was 150nps before november. =\

It's been 300np for as long as I can remember. The 150np was just the special November price. Maybe it just seemed longer with the LDP dragging on all month...

Actually, the birthday price was either 75 or free. It was lowered to 150 before the birthday, for what it's worth.

They didnt raise it, they just put it back to its normal price. And why is there another topic about this? Someone just made one a day or two ago. I feel like Im on the neoboards xD

I think you're getting confused. Both Buried Treasure and Wheel of Excitement had their prices slashed in half from the birthday (to 150np and 75np respectively), they were free on the birthday, then WoE was half for the rest of that week, then back up to 150np, but Buried treasure stayed 150np for the rest of the month.

I prefer buried treasure myself. It's more expensive, but nothing bad happens to you on it.

Statistics show that Buried Treasure makes a profit, even at 300 NP per play.

I'm too lazy to go grab the statistics though.
