As a reminder, since the list is posted in the first post it is unnecessary to keep reposting what you've gotten over and over again. After the firstperson does it, please don't keep reposting it because it will be edited out. :)

That avatar was given out last year during the advent I believe. I know I already had it.

I liked the prizes, but I couldn't get the animation to work. :( It loaded to 100% and then it just stayed there. Nothing happened. I like to see the animations, I hope it works tomorrow!

There is the animation for those who can't see it - I found once I'd seen the above it would load properly on the page afterwards :)

I mean, Neo doesn't even have to do this, they put alot of time, thought and effort into it and it's free for goodness sake!

I'm not a complainer - and I tend to agree that when someone is giving you something for free you shouldn't whine much about it. That said, can we please stop acting like TNT does all this stuff out of the goodness of there hearts - this is a business, the advent calandar is an EXCELLENT way to increase the number of hits/day to the site.
I know many people who play Neo sporadically, or only come on once a week or so, that make a HUGE effort to be on the site everyday in December.

More Hits = Better Public Stats = More Money from advertisers.

So we can all say thank you to TNT for doing a good job, we can all try to be cheerful and not grumpy because 'tis the season to do that anyway but can we not act like this is some great altruistic gift that they're giving us out of the goodness of their hearts.

Thank You.

I just don't understand the people that moan and complain about the advent calendar items. Yes, they aren't worth a lot... whne you give millions of people one each they're pretty much valueless.

Advent items are some of my favorites though because they really are some of the coolest bits of art on the site. It's fun waking up every morning and getting a pretty little food/toy/or otherwise. It's especially nice waking up to a darling little petpet. :)

gabriellaeve, I think that assessment is a bit too cynical for my taste. It might increase page views a tad, but they don't have to put so much effort in the flash animations and the great items in that case. There are plenty of other ways to increase pageviews that wouldn't involve so much effort on their part.

On another note, I still can't see the flash animation, but I think it's just because my computer currently hates me. :P

Hmm- it does sound kind of cynical doesn't it, I don't mean it to - I really enjoy the advent calander, I look forward to it the whole year - the animations are really great - they could do what they do for the McDonalds give-aways and just have a static image. I really was referring more to the people that seem to continuously put TNT and the site up on to a pedestal - ie "you shouldn't complain the site is glitchy"/"something hasn't been updated"/"advent calendar" because its a free site - just because its free to use doesn't mean its non-profit or that all these things are getting done out of the goodness of someones heart/for fun.
I can still enjoy the site and the goodies even if I know there's a business behind them...

Now back to your regularly scheduled advent calendar chat... ;)

Well, they did this back in 2001 when the site wasn't hugely run. So, atleast then it was probably out of their luv. ;)

Besides, we don't know what their motives are. We can only guess.
