If you see Sid appear, please post the date & time (NST) here.

I realize without an alert thread we aren't likely to be able to alert each other. However, I am hoping that by gathering the dates and times, we can see if there is a pattern to his appearances that might help to predict when he will appear.

Edit:
For the non-battlers: For an easier way to tell from the 1P challenger screen if it is Bob or Sid, check the difficulty column:
For Bob it will say "0+x" (x = number of times you have beaten Bob.)
For Sid it will say "100+-x" (plus or minus the number of times you have beaten or lost to Sid)

Also adding in the approximate times from the initial avatar thread. I hope we can gather more accurate times in the future, but these are all I have for now.

The pattern at this time seems to be every three calendar days, although he doesn't always appear, or we are all missing him.

No reported sightings for Dec.

If the every 3 days pattern is correct, we should watch for him to appear next on Jan. 28th, 31st, Feb. 3, 6, 9, etc..

Yes, same for me. I wish we could have an alert thread for him on General Chat, like turmy. But we were sent here for it. I'm afraid nobody will be around within the 5-10 minute window to see an alert here. But hopefully, if those who do see him will post with the time (or approximate time) we can learn how to predict when he'll appear.

ive been scouring neopets pet pages recently to gain new information on this elusive avatar. It seems to me like, other than the three dates that supRNurs has posted above, that no other sightings have been found. Here is a link to one of the better pet pages.

Edit: It seems to me like the times that we have on ppt are inconsistent with the times on the pet pages, or that sid appears more than 2 times a day sometimes. Interesting...

I'm pretty certain he appeared twice on the 21st. The first time, Armi reported not getting the avie after losing to him. The second time, the avie was activated. So, I'll leave the first appearance out in the comparison below.

It seems the times on the 21st and 27th are off by one hour. I would tend to think it more likely that someone miscalculated time conversion to NST than he actually made two appearances on those days, an hour apart. For now, I'll ask that someone double check the posts listed above and see if I messed up in converting the times to NST (I have been known to before. )

I know I'm gonna try to be there and see.

I figured that when I tried to upload the reminder to my schedule keeper. It seems like a lot of the pages dedicated to this are outdated.

Yes, as far as I know, all are currently outdated, all the users taking care of these petpages are offline

Well, it almost seems they have given up.

I know I will be refreshing like mad for a good part of the day today (going with every three days,) as well as tomorrow (in case it's the 24th as before.)

I'm never in the dome otherwise, so am hoping some of the regular battlers will keep an eye out for him as well.

yea, i think thats the main problem. I'm almost never in the battledome, and that small 10 minute interval is just so easy to miss.

Edit: I would also suggest anyone still needing him check around 4:16pm NST, just in case he is appearing twice an hour apart.
