I'd so love to apply for that position! I know I'm in Australia, but dang, I'd be willing to move for a job at Neopets...

It's so ... very... tempting... to think about... (I just finished uni, so I'm all jobhunting and liking the idea of travelling) :D

I suspect the US government might have a few things to say about that. :-)

Is the office under neopets itself or Temasek Holdings?

Interested to pay a visit... :D

Huh?? Raffles Place is a CBD area while Temasek Holdings is the investment arms of the Singapore Government ...

Well, mazil might be able to get a work permit or visa. I know they're not forever, but if it meant being able to work for Neo and they really want to, why not try?

The pay scale is less than I'd thought it would be. Geez, I almost want to send a care package to TNT's offices for the staff for the holidays!

Haha... yeah, I hadn't really thought about the work visa part! I have dual British and Australian citizenship, so I'm kinda used to being able to go over there and work without too much trouble ;) *is spoilt*

The news about the pay is a bit disappointing... I'd be happy with low pay if I was in a job I loved, but I'd still need some money to survive!

Neopets Asia has been bought over some time back by a company I think its called Green Dot which is a fully owned subsidiary of Temasek Holdings... ;)

wow i din know that noepets hq is in raffles place.i am a singaporean too.maybe i can try my luck in applying for the position?

I was offered a position at Neopets HQ in Glendale, CA after my "Volunteer Monitor" days. But, I was not willing to relocate to the other side of the US just to have some lame $8/hr job. *laughs* I can easily get a $12/hr job here in Kentucky. I love Neopets and all and I would give anything to work for them again, but I'm not moving across the country and getting paid horrid amounts to do so.

You would think after all the money they're making, and MTV buying them, that they could pay better then 8 bucks an hour. I mean, that's a little lame. You can work at the library here for $8 an hour. Seriously.

The job probably doesn't require much, so the pay is low? ;)
