Would you quit Neopets if...

...is taking a break this week. Instead, you get to play admin as you answer the question...

What one event do you think would cause the most amount of people to quit Neopets...



Some rules :

- No copying other people's ideas.
- Everybody that leaves must do so out of choice (IE : No "If the site was deleted...")
- Must be plausible (So no "If everybody in the world died...)
- You are to consider yourself as being either Adam or Donna. What change would you make to make the site have as few people as possible ?
- NO Viruses, Spyware or Dodgy Ads...

If pets and NP were scrapped and all that was left was the games, guilds, boards and stuff ^^;

And it'd still have items and shops ... not that they'd be much use ...

I'd overthrow the bourgeois capitalist system of neopoints and advertisements, and replace it with the Peoples Democratic Republic of Neopia.

Everyone would be on an equal level with no need for NP or items, while grain and other essentials would be provided for you.

The current games being the frivolous waste of energy they are would be replaced with flash games on crop efficiency, manufacturing information, and a wide variety of morale boosting games about our glorious chairman (me).

if they got rid of the battledome and all the games, then i'd be gone. there'd be no point in my existence

If every pet was changed to Invisible. And every other paint brush option was deleted.

If you had to pay for neopets...

If there was a total reset... avs, NPs, pets, everything.

Games now dont give out neopoints, only highscores for the trophy.

Shops no longer restock. Items instead are given to the richest players on neopets, and then sold through their shops.

The stock market is reset, and prices inflate 100,000 times. Oh, and the minimum price you can buy at is now 150,000 np per share.

Due to the potential for harm, all forms of communication on the site have been removed including: guilds, the boards, Neomail. In order to prevent contact from off-site that could be linked back to Neopets, User and petlookups as well as pet pages are no longer customizable to prevent IM names from being exchanged in that manner.

I would say the two biggest things would be either a) the database crashed and they lost their backups and everyone had to start over, or b) the site could only be played if you payed for it.

Pay-to-play, or if their Darigan pets and such got drasticly freakier.

The new neopets -
the Playboy Bunny;
the Ronald McDonald;
the Coca-Cola Can

All other pets are deleted

I think people would quit if all of a sudden there was an even playing field. Everyone had the same number of neopoints, pets stats, etc.

If I was in charge, the thing I would do different is make it so all items were equally dispersed and if peope didnt like that I would just make it so prices had limits ie. no inflating prices over 1 million so that each person has the capability of reaching a goal
