Right now, I'm working on finding my 4 white scrolls. My pattern goes FER, SET, SET, FER. What I'd like to know is if the primary color pattern I have to follow for the first FER will be the same for the second, same goes for SET. Or will I have to go try all the different orders again?

It seems the order is NOT the same for any of the 4. So you will have to find the new order again for each symbol.

the order isn't the same, but for the symbol i had two of, the white scrolls were in teh same place too. you still have to go through the pattern and get the name of the room, but at least you don't have to search all the racks again.

Is it absolutely definite that you can't just read the scrolls that you've already read in the proper order and proceed? Do I absolutely have to go back through finding the pattern so it can tell me where the scroll is that I already know the location of just to proceed?

I think we have to wait for the next part - the what the heck do we have to do with the scroll and please don't let it be more scroll reading or plodding around in the tomb.

As for that url and the lights and all that, I read and re-read it all, but I can't say that I see the point of any of it. And I highly doubt that TNT would appreciate it if in fact it is a glitch or a "cheat" as a way to get your light/colors/scroll without having to go through the steps. Just my 2 cents.

If you have a way of finding your *code* before you have light, then you have stumbled across something. The problem is you can't know your code until you yourself have physically had light.

XenaAndGabrielle (and all others who corrected me): Sorry, I stand corrected. I was under the impression that one might be able to advance by going to the "light on all the time room" (anytime after their 2nd crystal, since I thought it does not change after the secondary colors showed) and be able to advance from there instead of waiting for their next 8 hour cycle. I am so tired and weary from all this. I dream of it and even when I think back I can't remember what I did at what stage sometimes, it's sad. Blowing up that wall sure is fun tho.

I've got my 3rd crystal (After about 3 hours trudging around the repository) and I'd just like to check what to do next. I have read the instructions on the first post but I like to confirm with examples so I don't waste any more time.

So the 4 symbols on my tablet that haven't been lit (going forward) are:

Paw, sun, ears, leaf

Now this is the bit I'm confused about...
The test sequence is: Y - B - R - Y - B - Y - R - B - Y

Do I go to the catalogues and find the location of the yellow paw then go read the yellow paw scroll at that location - then repeat with the blue paw location, then the red etc until I find the white scroll location - then go to the white scroll with the paw.

Then repeat this sequence with the sun, ears and leaf?

Yes, you have to read the set twice (and in different orders), even though the white scroll is in the same place. Don't be lazy.

(I had to read my pair twice, which involved going to Secrets of Dirigible Construction twice, ugh.)

If I were lazy, my dear, I would have given up long ago. I'm just sick to death of running down to Asparagus Recipes, then back up to Lost Desert Literature (archaic) and then back down to Rejected Marriage Proposals. It's maddening.

All I can say is that there had better be a really good reward for all this crap.

So close but so far, got all my scrolls and my light comes on in one hour and I am a pile of sand. I just wish there was an easy way to find these traps

So, I'm hanging out in the scroll repository after getting my scroll, and I decide to go to the Lost Desert Genealogical Histories, Lat through Tep room to see if a hunch that I had works out (I was going to map the room to see if there was all of one particular colour or symbol) when I accidentally clicked on a purple scroll and got the message directing me to go and look at the unsolvable riddle (in the tomb). Since that was a little weird, I clicked on another purple scroll on a different rack in that room and it gave me the same message. At which point I refreshed and it still showed up. So then I start clicking on all of the scrolls and it happens with all 6 or seven that I clicked on. I even changed rooms a few times too, the first part of the message changes each time, but not the part directing me to the unsolvable riddle... Is this happening to anyone else? I occasionally have weird things happen on my computer, but this one takes the cake

I just tried this and I get the puzzle message every time also. I guess that means for now we are done in the repository.

If you can post screenshots (or text versions, which ever you like best) of your tablet, your lights and your card catalogues, I'll take a look at them and tell you which sequence to follow.

After your first one "worked", did you go find the secondary color scroll and read it before trying to move on? Did you read your scrolls in catalog order (i.e. if your catalogs are currently y-b-r, read the yellow scroll first, then the blue one.) If you've read 2 scrolls for your second one, try going back and re-reading the first scroll (of the 2 for your second symbol) and see if it will give you the location that way.

I think I understand what you're asking - if your color and symbol is, say, an orange fish. You would go to your card catalog and let's say it's in order from left to right, blue, red, yellow. You would first read the red fish scroll in the location listed in the card catalog since it comes first, going left to right, then the yellow fish in the location the card catalog gives you. Upon reading the second scroll, you would get the location for the orange fish. It worked perfectly for me every time.

in the meantime at least the scrolls safe in the sdb wish they'd release the enxt part though
