this is how i got through the frustration of not finding a riddle trap right away. lol

Right now, I'm working on finding my 4 white scrolls. My pattern goes FER, SET, SET, FER. What I'd like to know is if the primary color pattern I have to follow for the first FER will be the same for the second, same goes for SET. Or will I have to go try all the different orders again?

So I got my fourth crystal and was waiting for the light in 2 hours. I went to the link, exploded the wall, went in the room . . . . AND GOT MY SCROLL!!!!

I'm confused . . . .

edit: and now, when i click on the tower in my darkened room, nothing happens. shortcut???? cheat??? who knows?

anybody try going to the gift shop with the scroll yet?

It seems the order is NOT the same for any of the 4. So you will have to find the new order again for each symbol.

bethi, I guess once you've gotten the fourth crystal, you can proceed. You truly have the scroll in your inventory now and your light still isn't on? Interesting.

Once you do have your scroll, the referred-to URL (secret_scroll_room_shhh=1) just shunts you back to where you were anyway in the Repository - we can't revisit the secret room. Darn.

For crystal three and the uncolored symbols, do we need to read from top to bottom and right to left (the symbols on the tablet), or the reverse like before?

Could the next person who blows thier wall take note of the url of the page where the scroll in the wall is and PM it to me? I lost my note of it.

I have finished testing my 'wild theory' that maybe scrolls can be remixed to make black scroll locations. The theory was loosy based on black as a color containing all other colors. Since my first symbol was a blank.... I tried the theory on my first, second, and last symbols. No such luck. Maybe it doesn't make sense since white is the absense of all other colors and we mixed three colors to get white. If you mixed red, blue and yellow paint, you'd get ....brown. I need a break!

yes. I truly have my scroll in my inventory. I truly do NOT have a crystal in my inventory. And my light is truly still off.

the order isn't the same, but for the symbol i had two of, the white scrolls were in teh same place too. you still have to go through the pattern and get the name of the room, but at least you don't have to search all the racks again.

You've actually got it backwards in terms of light. For light, mixing all the colors gives you white, and the abscence of all colors is darkness (black).

You're right for paint, though (did you know Crayola makes black crayons by melting all the deformed colored crayons together in one big vat?). Which is a little funny, cause we were doing paint-mixing colors for the second sequence, but then light mixing for the third sequence.

i think TNT needs an art class.

Really??? I never heard that before, but wouldnt that give different variations of color for each batch? Im artistically challenged so pardon if I make no sense

what has and has not been tried with the mysterious scroll? I seem to remember that talking to the cook and the gift shop have been tried, as have telling the prophecies from the fortune teller to the faerie statue. Has anyone tried doing a Brain Tree quest? (I tried, but got something ridiculously rare and expensive on my first esophagor quest and am not that rich!)

Whilst in the chat room last night (that's about 7 hours back).. some of us came up with an idea and I went to the wishing well to wish for "parchment", "help", "scroll" and .. I forgot the last one

Just because of the "can't make heads or tails of this".. we thought of tossing a coin and somehow it became tossing a coin into the wishing well

And of coruse.. nothing happened.. still!
