*cries* I tried to get pictures off my camera via a usb hub, however it decided not to work. So I switched the USB cord (going from the hub to my camera) still no dice. I then pulled my tower out and wiggled the USB items plugged into the tower when this came up:

Image

my camera still won't connect to my computer and now this message won't go away. Help?

Your camera should come with a driver CD of some sort. Install the drivers (and consult your camera manual) :)

Will you stop with the honour stuff?

Thanks for the help Hunter. I'm not supposed to hook the camera to a USB Hub according to canon.com, despite the fact that it worked fine for two years. I hooked it up to the USB port on the back of my tower and it worked just fine.

:( Over the last couple of days, my PC has been freezing, I wait for a long while, and nothing happens. Which, to be honest, is very annoying. I have no idea what's going on, but all 3 times, it's happened while MapleStory is open (not really a suprise, I'm on it an awful lt). I've been using it for about 3 months now, and it's a global, so I'm sure it's nothing to do with that.

I may as well post my hijackthis log...

your hijackthis log doesnt seem to show any major problems... I suggest running a scan at http://www.pcpitstop.com

also, its a good idea to use 2-3 spyware scanners...I see you have ad-aware..try spybot S & D..microsoft anti-spyware is good too, remember to make sure your spyware definitons are up to date.

Quick question.
Is there any way to clear this?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v105/rbpnmn/o.jpg

Like, clear everything you've searched for? It used to be kinda useful but now it has like, everything anyone in my family has searched for in the last 6 months on it. Thanks

Try this.

Tools -> Internet Options -> Content -> Autocomplete -> Clear Forms

Vera, I had that problem with a desktop computer. If what Freddy and Synix said don't work, then it's possible that your motherboard is going out. I don't know if you can replace motherboards in laptops or not, or but I know in my desktop computer couldn't be replaced because it was a Hewlett-Packard, and they don't give drivers for their soundcards and ect.

Anyway, hope you can get it fixed.

For both of you that has random lockups and shutdowns, check the logs under Administration Tools in the Control Panel after strange things, or just type this in the Run dialogue: eventvwr.msc

The next time it crashes/locks up, check those logs and post a picture here.

Alrighty. Yesterday I downloaded a Flash Player update. Now my Firefox won't load any flash objects. For example, when i go to he Lost Desert Plot comic, nothing appears. And I can't see the flash version of the main shops in Neopia Central.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Shockwave, Flash and Firefox, but to no avail.

Are you using AdBlock? Disable those little tabs in the AdBlock options.

Tried it, but it didn't work.

I don think it has to do with Adblock. I was able to see flash items up until the very moment I installed the new version of flash.
