First of all I apologize if this is in the wrong board.

Secondly, I am trying to save neopoints so I can trade for the entire Secret Laboratory Map at the trading post. No, I am not asking for donations from anyone. I was just hoping to get some advise on how I can do this.

My problem is that I have a dial up internet connection. This prevents me from doing 99.9% of shop restocks because I am "too slow". Half the games won't load for me, and the ones that do won't load everyday.

I have just over 123k in np saved right now with nothing but junk in my shop and one trade going on but again it won't bring me anywheres near my goal.

Does anyone know of anyway I can raise some more neopoints being stuck on a dial up internet connection?

I had dial-up and buying 1000 shares of a stock selling for 15-16np every day helped. sell when they hit about 40np each, and you'll make a lot of money. it's slow, but it works to perfection to make literally millions. play NQII on evil also, and you'll make a lot every few months when you beat the game

I agree. Since I'm at school with slower internet, I can't rs here either. 2 weeks ago, I started buying 1000 shares of stock at 15np everyday. 3 of those groups are already near 40, and my portfolio is worth 80k more than I paid already. If you're patient, it really pays off.

I suggest that you also try your hand at reselling. Look for things on the shop wiz that are priced too low and resell them in your shop for the going market rate. I have made just about all of my neopoints that way. Things that have a fast turnaround like easy to sell items like faeries, codestones, dubloons, neggs; cheap food; and the more common petpets.

And check out the petpage for My_First_Little_Pony. That user lists all games that can be played, including some that have been taken off of the site but can still be played with the link he provides. Many of the sponsor games give out great points for very little time and effort spent. See which ones you are good at, make a list so you don't forget them, and play them every chance you get. When I have the time, I can easily make 15K-20K in 1-1/2 to 2 hours playing sponsor games.

Oh, and one more thing. Don't buy the map via the trading post. Most people jack up the price when they are selling the whole 9 pieces at once. It is best to draw yourself a map of the 9 pieces needed and buy the lowest price you see for each piece. It is a bit time consuming but worth it in the long run. And, if getting all 9 pieces at once seems overwhelming, maybe it would be easier to buy one piece at a time. Sometimes setting a goal for yourself works, like a goal of buying one piece a week.

Thanks for the advise everyone, I appreciate it and will look into it. I do own several stocks right now and am waiting for them to go up but they are slow going, that is for sure.
