This post might help a little. I'll put the main part here though, for reference.

I have to admit, I had no idea what you were talking about and had to do a little poking around to find the Top 40. (This was the first time I've attempted an Adventure.) Being on the top 40 list is pretty cool - and all thanks to PPTers - I don't post on Neoboards. So, thanks everyone. Glad you liked it and hope it helped with the boredom a little.

I ain't tryin' each one. I still like my idea of making each glyph into a letter, but if we do have to try each combo... :cry:

I'm not exactly sure why we were discussing the prophecies again. Can you help out? What were you thinking of trying?

What am I thinking?! I'm thinking we need a different idea. It ain't even proven that using a different prophecy would work. We're talking about it since some late starters (assuming) mentioned it. At this point, anything is a good idea, but I ain't trying the 26 other combos until this weekend, if that is what we have to do.

Don't look at me for ideas right now. All I can think of is stuff that would mean we'd have to jack a ton of equipment from Sloth.

OK... It's all clear now...

For the record, I'm pretty sure that trying any prophecy, other than the one at the bottom of your tablet will just land you in a trap. I thought maybe y'all were looking for some sort of pattern that determined which prophecy you got from the tablet.

I'm all for ideas ... The word pyramid thing was fun for a while, but I can't make any sense of the words we've found so far.

What in the world did I ever do on neo before the plot? o_O

Ahh... now I get it, I think...
If it's statue symbol to prophecy that you are trying to match up, there are 12 possible symbols and 27 possible prophecies, so I think you'll find that those with the same symbol can have different prophecies.

All right y'all. I'm officially abandoning my glyph=letter idea as bad. Reasons: Djo, Nem, and Ra to name a few. I also wish to voice my complaint about the choice of glyphs. I want the Stargate symbol dagnabit! For those that don't know, the Stargate symbol looks like the Angstom symbol.

I continue to believe that this has something to do with the tablet and the translation. Partly because we got scarab'd when using that translation, partly because the Fortune Teller says we should look at it again, and partly because the symbols could not translate into these phrases (because the same symbol is used to represent different words).
The symbol on my statue is FER, FER appears twice on my tablet (row 1 symbol 2, and row 3 symbol 1) - the positions equate to words 2 and 9 in my translation "prince of". I tried just those two words at the statue and fell into the trap :cry:

Still, right now any ideas is better than none, (even those of late starters, which I'm not!) but I'm off to bed!

I agree with your reasons - they all could indicate that there is something left to do with the tablet or prophecy.
Also:
The prophecies do not end in a period (although TNT could just be lazy)
It had pretty much come true before half the people ever spoke it to their statues.
The TCG card is Qasalan Tablets (plural)

I don't get. How are you equating symbols to words in the prophecy statement? The prophecy could be anywhere from 8 words to 13 words, and the tablets have 16 symbols. o_O

I know someone has mentioned it several times on previous boards but what exactly was the clue that no one got in the last plot? The one where TNT had to post extra clues to guide you there...

Just wondering how vague the original clue was in case this is a repeat of that situation. Thanks!
