I was just thinking about the day and night backgrounds for the Temple. Do you think it's possible that there is something important and significant about the one hour that the sun is rising/setting (orange bckgrnd)? You know, the undead isn't exactly notorious for wandering bright sunny days so maybe this is a window of opportunity to do something that you wouldn't be able to do when the Qasalan guards aren't patrolling. (Prince Jazan counters this thought though cuz he strolled right into Sakhmet in broad daylight)

Maybe we have to tell the Faerie something during that time frame to get a specific reaction. I just tried my prophecy again but still got scarab'd so of course, that doesn't work. :P

The orange background time is 4-5 NST, btw. I guess I could be wrong about it's importance cuz it wouldn't quite be fair to those who are at work/school/other during that period. Just some speculation!! :D

The riddle is directly below the picture of the temple rising from the sand on the main temple page.

Read the first page of this thread for the answer to your question(s).

There are 6 door colors and 4 door shapes. The riddles will only tell you the color and shape of the door you need.

Shapes:
A humble portal of stone (rectangle) [just a regular old door]
Mouth of the river (triangle) [think about it ... the place where a river starts will look like a triangle ... because it starts flowing out]
The aspect of a star (pentagon) [5 sides to a standard star]
Window into the soul (oval) [your eyes are ovalish]

Colors:
Blinding radiance of the sun (yellow) [the sun]
Thunderous clouds obscuring the sky (black) [makes it dark]
The waking dawn on the dunes (red) [at dawn, thing all look red]
Banks of the mighty river (green) [everything is green on the banks]
Kingdom of the lightgiver (blue) [the sky is the sun's (lightgiver's) kingdom ... and it is blue]
Bright guardian of the night (silver) [The moon is sort of silverish]

The combination does not tell you which symbol you need, but does limit your search to 12 possible doors to find your statue in.

Just outside the temple there is a riddle. That riddle is used to figure out which door the faerie is behind (just color and shape). Everyone has a different riddle ... so everyone will have a different door to find.

The symbol above the door is unknown. You just have to try all 12 possibilities. 11 of the doors will be traps ... the 12th door will be the faerie statue.

The symbols in the comic are used to translate the tablet once you are finished.

Not just any oval door, you're looking for a blue oval door.

Yes... a blue oval door.
But you won't know what symbol to look for. Trial and error.

But if you want those tablet pieces you'll need to follow the next part of that post...

In other words- a blue oval. There are 12 blue ovals in your tomb and no clue as to behind which symbol the faerie lies. You'll just have to keep trying blue oval doors until you find the faerie. Trial and error or pure luck.

Well .. window into the soul refers to an oval door, yes.

Now, what color is it? Kingdom of the lightgiver tells you the color.

What will the symbol above the door be? Seems to be random ... just have to try all 12 combinations.

That is a trapped room. Mark that one down as being "wrong" ... you have 11 others to try.

You'll be locked out for an hour, and you now know that your statue isn't in that room.

I didn't know there was flash authoring software. Can you actually take flash from a webpage and then edit it?

What's the software called?

Flash authering software is what you use to make and edit swf files, I've never used it myself. A couple years ago I considered buying it to learn flash, but decided not to. As far as I know, there is no free program that can make and edit swf's, and if memory serves me right, the software that is available is quite spendy(for my budget).

Wow, these pages move fast when we're getting nowhere :P

Hi everyone,

I just registered today but have been reading the posts for a few weeks and wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for all the helpfull information.

Does anyone know where to view the entire Lost Desert deck of cards online? Since everyone's prophecy was a variation of "the ancient prince will make vanish the desert capital" (mine) and something like that is on one of the cards maybe there is another card that we need to twist around for a second prophecy? Just a thought...

It does in fact say something about parchments in the first post:

Quote:
Then if you play a game of Pyramids, at the end you should see a parchment on the bottom of your screen. This looks to be a clue to rooms as each column has a number, color, symbol, and shape.

If you go the room under the single dot that your parchment describes, you will get an RE which gives you a dirty stone piece. Take that to the toy repair shop and you get a piece on your tablet.

There are 2 things ... the tablet and the faerie statue. I would do the tablet part first. (the clues with all the parchment pieces)

The faerie statue can be done after that. (the random looking through 12 rooms for the statue).

You can do them in either order, though.
