lol zalensia, ofcourse the tablet and the translation don't make sense... it's just random...there is no logic behind it because there doesn't need to be. It's just a trick of TNT to make sure people won't copy one and another.
ah well...time to wait again

Possibly, there is a reason we are "stuck" at the faerie statue in the temple with no wait time. (Even though you CAN get out.)
Keep an eye on the Lost Desert map, in addition to watching for new comics, just in case that is what's next.
ITs looking to me like TNT is making things go slowly to give everyone a chance. They are dealing with people all over the world in all the time zones and of all ages. There are a lot of steps to get the tablets filled, I am still helping my daughter with hers. I think they are moving slowly so everyone has a chance.
When they done the mystery island one I had pretty much just started neopets and had no idea what was going on then when I did see the answer posted it was too late to submit it and get the avatar.
So far this is way better then the maraqua one I had chosen my side and was ready to go then the day the war started it kept telling me I had not choses a side so I didnt get to participate in that one at all. My daughter was a supporter and was able to give a couple things then it wanted an almost unbuyable potion from her so she couldnt go any farther then either.

Did you really think neopets would use knowledge from outside their website to solve their puzzle? That they would use an existing acient language?
Neopets makes up everything, their own worlds, foods, species, games, and also languages and history... Nobody cares if its right or wrong, as long as the puzzle works...

Yeah but what I mean lol even with the translation it makes no sense to me

So I can't see it ever making sense or even meant to make sense lol AM I even making sense?
Maybe they will bring out a clue which leads us to go back into the tomb and go through all the certain doors with those symbols to lead us through a new path.
It seems to be 1 part of a bigger prophecy. This part of it (and there are 27 variations on it) just means that Prince Jazan will cause the city of Sakhmet to disappear.
TNT has set the plot in the Lost Desert, and as it is close to an Egyptian civilisation, they have used some broad interpretation of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics to give us clues. As long as these clues are true to the plot, it doesn't matter if in real life they don't make sense.

I'm guessing the next chapter of the plot will deal with the city vanishing. That's when we'll be able to proceed

Is everyone stuck at the faerie? I cant get back into the temple at all.

Teresa - just type and incorrect prophecy and you'll be booted out. Then you need to wait the hour to get back in
Thu Sep 15, 2005 1:19 pm
Yeah, they are just stalling for time. Id preffer if they just did ALL of this at the end, so that it was who was fast and knew what to do instead of everyone getting to the same point, but yeah the trend so far has been a little something each plot.
Plot 1: Fourtune teller
Plot 2: Tomb
Plot 3: Tablet Pecies
Plot 4: Translation
I figgure it will keep up at the same rate

Yes, I see your point. But is it really more fair? In the end, as with trophies and restocking and everything else in neopia, it all comes down to how fast you are. There are those that could be ahead or at least on top of things all the way through - possibly even the ones to solve some of the earlier portions - who may not happpen to be online at the instant a clue is activated. So those plot "leaders" could be left in the cold, simply for logging out for an hour.
With MI, yes there were complaints of it being unfair because of the time. But if you were there and were working on it, you knew when something was out there to be solved and when we were getting close. Those that complained were mostly those that were watching the boards, waiting for someone else to post the answer for them.
But this way, there is no way to tell when we are getting close, or when a breakthrough is about to happen. It's like several little races starting at random times and it doesn't matter how many you win, only if you win the last one.

We should all send mails, to TNT, to warn them that the great city will vanishe.

Mapping? *Points to Siggy*
The opening message is a TON to read through. Take a deep breath! You are not too far behind. First you need to know where you are going. It might take you a number of hours to map your temple.

Not true. I was here following through the entire thing with many friends of mine who have long since left PPT and Neopets. I think you underestimate the number of people who were following along and got left in the cold at the last minute. I went out of town and was without internet access for about a day, and left litterally an hour or two before it was solved. Problem is, that the ONLY thing that you had to do to get a prize was click the link at the very end. Even if you started Neopets that very day you could have won if you were online at the right time. I'm liking this one much more. Yeah, it's true that they're giving people time to catch up, but considering that the steps you have to follow, even with the directions posted here and elseway, are so time consuming it's the fairest they've done so far.

For your 1st door you need to find the RED PENTAGON with that Symbol above it (the curvie 2 thingy)..mapping would be good, but i've got to my last one without anymapping in a matter of what 3 days? Would have taken 2 but I was logged off all of yesterday but it doesn't take long just keep looking and you'll get it.

"Prince Jazan will make vanish the city of Sakhmet"
That was my prophecy....I tried putting the prophecy in backwards, and then even each word backwards (EX: temhkas...etc) but nothing happened

. It was worth a shot!
Also, if you are having trouble getting the prophecy to appear to you and you've clicked them all in the correct order 20 million times, make sure you've logged in!

I did that.....I didn't notice I wasn't logged in. Usually you can't look at anything from neopets unless you've signed in, but....oh well.....
