Hehe, that's exactly what I thought - my what a lot of pageviews for tnt x) I've no doubt that made the idea of this puzzle all the more appealing to tnt but it is indeed a lot of fun like you say.

With all these players sitting around mapping for so long the pageviews must be (even more) through the roof!

I have been following the posts here for a few days, only to leave for the weekend and find that I've missed all eight clues!! I have some makor catching up to do.....

Question: What happens after all 12 clues? How do we read the tablet? has anyone got a good guess yet? I'm guessing it's the prophecy for the statue, right?? Hmm...

Also, for anyone who's keeping track, my statue was under a blue oval door w/ the tep symbol, and my statue has the lat symbol on it.

One other thing, my libraries have been different everytime I have gone into them, and if I refresh, I get an entire different set of scrolls, but I can only refresh once. Once I refresh the first time, the new set of scrolls remain. Don't know if it is useful for anything, but thought I'd post b/c this forum has been very helpful to me!

I've only noticed this with myself, so the rest of you my not have, but I've been paying more attention to the site and playing more of the other games while waiting for the next clues. An easily addictive puzzle like this could also be helping their other games.

Sorry if that is to conspiratorial, but when you sig is a quote from an Obsidian Order agent, you just see life differently.

this is happening too fast. i can just see this happening:

you place the 12th peice in the tablet. since you pet was able to understand the scroll, you know what it says. you read the tablet.

"adam is the asparagus king. all bow to his greatness."

you go to the fairy and tell her the prophecy. the statue raises up and reveals a door. you walk into it and stare at the mountains of np, and the door slams shut suddenly! you are now trapped in the temple and time is running out. but because the statue has been raised, so has the dead. zombies of the travellers of the past rise and surround the statue.

its up to the rest of neopia (everyone who didnt get trapped) to fight these zombies and free you. and you and the fighters get a share of the np.


that is something tnt would do. we do all this, just to get trapped and miss out on the war. evil tnt

I didn't think about the sponsor thing, but it makes sense. It makes you wonder, though; I mean, so many people on the site, hitting page after page...and it's been running well.
But I'm all caught up! Take THAT, Temple of 1,000 Pageviews! I'm done..for about an hour, anyway.

Okay so a grand sponsor conspiracy is really out there, but when the main reason you joined Premium was to get rid of all the ads...

According to the Q&A in the Neopian times issue 206 this is just the beginning. The castle will be changed soon to get rid of the old game that is still there and has been for I know longer then I have been playing.

The Uni he is riding will have a part in the plot soon It says This Uni has real character as you will see later on.

In Issue 207 it says Brucey B's war tent and a lot of the other outdated things on the Lost Desert map will either me moved, upgraded or just vanish once the new map goes live. It is tied into the story though so we can't change it just yet.

So looks like there will be lots more to come.

One last PS to all of you complaining about how this interferes with your school work: You just haven't mastered being a student yet. A few semesters ago, I found that if you puntucate 2-2.5 hr of physics homework with 15 min of Neopets, you stay a lot saner. I just wish I could play during class. Something has to make chem interesting.

So of course everyone's noticed that there's one scroll per world and only 11 worlds, but does anyone think that the 12th world will be Jelly World? On the yes side, they do need a 12th world, and there is that jelly blob trap, but on the no side they've said lots of stuff that make me think it's entirely unrelated to this plot, and Jelly Blobs of Doom says "Movie coming December 2006.".

So I dunno. I think it probably isn't, but I'm just tossing this idea out to the wind to see if anyone else follows up on it.

I've finally caught up! I saw my 8th door when I was looking for my 7th, so I found it really quickly.

How do people find this stuff? As far as I know, there is no actual link to the temple, so how was it found? Do people just type random things into their address bar?

The temple was featured as a top bar ad for everyone (even those who have premium and normally can't see ads) when the second part was released.

In other news, I've pretty much caught up on everything at the moment (I just found my faerie statue an hour ago, I'm going to read my scroll later tonight)
