Meiou was once more dashing through a forest. He found forests pleasent and calming proboly because of his rabbitish nature. He continued his pace before coming to a crashing an splashing halt as he skidded into the bench as he tried to stop and was flung over it to splash down into the river. "Great Jus great. Where am i gonna find a place to dry off where I wont be seen around here?"

(am i starting to sense WoW players here? Btw Li if you think i should change something jus drop me an im and ill get on it)

{ It's getting confusing =P. Everyone's character has slightly similar personalities as well.

"It was a very unique shade. A very unique shade." My Shade is the most unique, Lilac!! XD

Oh, and I'm confused, FM. Why is your character's name in your bio Janine but Rae when you actually RP?

And BTW. I may be grounded (it's all my sister's fault), so I don't know if I'll have time to post tomorrow or the day after that, for the matter. I WILL of course, try to get on ASAP, but RPing takes time. }

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shade was knocked back as, for the third time, his feeble screen faded and his master's powerful beam of light shot into him. Raynault looked down at him, extended an arm to help him up, and then said, "As you can see, Shade, you still need a lot more practise with the defensive components of light magic." He sighed. "Maybe I should have started teaching you how to infuse weapons with light magic instead. But I thought that it was neccessary that you grasp defensive magic. As I mentioned before, it is the most important and powerful part of light magic."

Shade bowed his head in apology. "Sorry, I'm not very concentrated today..."

"As I can well tell," Raynault interrupted, smiling, but sadly. "I know you well enough to see that you are not very happy today."

Shade bit his lip. The truth was that after Raynault had mentioned the word 'faith', he had become more confused and unfocused. Everything was just confusing. If there really was a divine being, high up there, who created the humans and watched over them, why did bad things happen? And moreover, Why don't the others like me at school? Why do I feel so lonely at times? Seeing his distress, his mentor sighed and handed him a book. "Read this," he added. "It not only helps you to understand the different characteristics, spells and components of light magic, but it also helps you with... other things."

Shade smiled and put the small, golden-edged book into his backpack. "Raynault," he said, (he had called his mentor Priest Ocarin at first, but he insisted that he called him by his first name instead of his surname) "may I leave now? I'm don't really feel like casting spells today... I'm really tired." This was a lie, of course. He wasn't tired at all, he just wanted a night or so to think things out.

Raynault moved and sat down quietly on his bed, closing his eyes and bringing his hands together again, a familiar pose that his student had seen him do frequently. It helps me to reflect and circulate my thoughts, was what Raynault had said on his first lesson with him, when he asked him why he was doing that. "Remember, Shade. If you're ever feeling unlucky, or even unfaithful, there are other things that may help. Peace of mind, for example. And hope. Always have hope." There was a moment of silence, in which Shade also closed his eyes, enjoying the stillness and peace. "You may leave."

Shade nodded his head, said "Thank you for the lesson," and left quietly. He ran along the pathway to his house on the edge of the forest, laughing at the cool breeze that reached his head. He passed several shops, as well as several people on their way home from work or school, but never bothered to glance at them. Soon, he noticed a small cottage, standing beside a sandy shore, far away. Glancing back towards the pathway, he considered going there. His parents did not expect him home so soon, anyways, since lesson had ended early today. He smiled again, and ran lightly, but quickly towards the cottage.

What he saw there was a girl with shoulder-length, wispy hair, with bright blue eyes. She was singing, but Shade couldn't quite make out the words. He approached cautiously, wondering who this girl was, when she suddenly jumped down from the rock she was perched on, landing slightly in front of him. Involuntarily, he walked backwards, tripping on a rock and falling onto the sandy beach.

{ hello, jade! }

Jackdaw looked through all of the paper samples in front of him, and looked at them again. Still, there was a quality missing in the paper. He still took his time, searching through them again and again until he decided that none of the papers seemed to fit. They all were fine papers through and through, however. Rather than bother the elf, he looked at other racks of papers as she busied herself with dyes, trying to see just what was missing that another paper might have. A thought eventually crossed his mind, and he picked out one of the sturdier of the thinner sketching papers that absorbed the ink of the more cautious sketcher. The texture almost perfectly matched, the thickness matched, but the color was a bit off. Still, Jackdaw saw a crafter enjoying her work after a boring day and remembered a scene from his past. He decided to step to his diary and open it to the first page, setting a sheet of the favorable paper beside it. "A very close match, indeed, miss," he commented as he turned, eyeing a few tools of the weaving trade across the room with a nostalgic familiarity.

In the midst of this, he had uncaringly revealed the most sacred page of his Diary. Upon it was an ink sketch of a lovely young elf woman dressed in a conservative dress with a few stains and patches gently drawn into it. She was holding a mortar and pestal in her hands and staring out from the page with a smile, her arms bent to her work in grinding something for a dye and her body straightened poisedly like most elves' are all day long. Above her image was written the words, "My first memory was of my mother." Jackdaw did not know that the fact that he was only half night elf and half true elf was about to be revealed at last. Quite frankly, he didn't care. With a corrupt bounty on his head, he had nothing to lose.

Caress was just wondering if she should go out shopping when heard a thudding sound. She blinked and her eyes flickered over to the source of the noise. She saw a thin, teenage, black-haired human boy, sitting [lying?] in the sand. She felt the corners of her mouth tug into a small smile as she tried to surpress her mild laughter.

She tilted her head to side slightly. 'Hello.'

(Whoa. My stupid sister took ahold of the computer 5 hours ago so now I can finally post this post! XD. And hopefully later my character would be different than the pack. After all once she gets arguing that Waeleythia doesn't exist...)

Fawilyn's lips curved slightly at the sight of a someone stumbling through into the river. It was an amusing sight, but also one that made her feel ashamed it was amusing. She wondered if the man needed help... she did just see him knock into her bench at full speed and then plunge in the river head first. Although from what she could see, he was alright- just very wet. But she had never seen him around before and wondered who he might be. At a second glance, there was something pecuiliar about his appearance that she couldn't quite place.

"'cuse me," Fawilyn called after him. "Are- are you okay?" She realized she was quite far from him and he couldn't have possibly heard her. So, stumbled down the knoll to the very edge of the river. "I just saw you... erm, slam into that bench and I was wondering if you were all right."

She picked up the ends of her skirt and waded into the river. He must have heard her... somewhat, just probably wondering where that voice was coming from. Then she was wondering whether his ears were ringing from the impact. But Fawilyn had the tendency to overthink things and trail off in thought. Being so much more near to the wet figure. she realized that this man wasn't very... human. She didn't quite know who or what he was, but he had the appearance of a giant, wet dog when she approached him. With many pointy objects about him. "Um... sir?"

Janine seized herself up, deciding whether to socialize or not. She edged closer to one or two people ((OOC: this can be anyone, anyone who wants to RP with me :P or just needs socializing)) -she couldn't tell in the darkness. Her long hair actually trailed with the hem of her fine gown, her eyes swiftly analyzing the everything around her once more, she had a few hours of freedom before she would be found missing- the little pearl of the kingdom would not be gone too late on a ride.

He shook his head a few times trying to get the water out of his ears before he realized this woman was close enough to see him for what he was. "Fine fine. Yes im a sir. Thank your for your concern though" All that was wrong was a a bruised ego really and maybe a bruised chest from where he had collided with the bench. "Do you know of a secluded place where I might dry off?"

{ EDIT: I thought this post was too short at first, so I added a bit more. If you've read it, please read it again! =) Although I admit the added parts aren't too important. }

Shade glanced up at the younger girl's face, and noticed she was surpressing her laughter. Oh no, he thought. I've already made a bad impression on this girl and we've only just met... He glanced back the way he came from, thinking about going back home, but the girl had tilted her head and said "Hello."

He glanced back up, then immediately realized how stupid he must look sitting down. He stood up, brushing the sand off his clothes. "Hello," he replied, glancing out towards the (still) descending sun. "What's your name?" he asked. He didn't know what else to ask, and besides, it wasn't as if he was very fond of talking to complete strangers. Too late, he wondered why he approached this stranger anyways. Well, I had know idea she was going to jump off that rock. He looked back towards her face. She looked somewhat familiar... maybe he went to his school? He considered asking her, then decided to wait until her reply first. He looked away from her eyes again, wind sweeping across his moderately short hair.

"Er," Fawilyn said, then saw clearly how he looked- although he still resembled something of a wet dog to her- but it was more clear now that he was more of a rabbit form. "Secluded?" she continued after stepping back from the spray of water when he shook his head. "I doubt there are many secluded places here, um, but I suppose the forest's the only choice for you." She decided to not introduce herself at the time, as the man seemed a bit preoccupied (although apparently not preoccupied enough to point out that indeed, he was a sir), though wondered why she had never seen him before. After all, he was something that stood out in a crowd and she would have certainly remembered him if she saw him.

Caress watched as the human got up, dusting himself as he replied to her words. She was quiet for a while as she too, turned to look at the glowing sunset.

'Caress,' she replied. She paused again, looking away from the sun, as it hurt her eyes a little, and turning her gaze back on the boy.

'And you are?'

Ristalia stirred the dyes together, experimenting with the color on a square piece of muslin, spotty with stains. She reminded herself that dyes looked quite different when wet, which was something she knew well, but for some reason she wanted this color to turn out perfectly. The original journal’s cover was a lovely shade of brown.

Engrossed in her world of colors and dyes, Ristalia didn’t look up when the young man came over to the counter. She was supposed to be working, and she was sure he didn’t want to wait all day for a simple journal. She took note of the sound of rustling paper with satisfaction - he must have found a type of paper that was worthy of his new journal. Continuing to work, she smiled at the young man as he spoke and opened his diary. Her smile grew as she paused in her work and looked at the page he had opened for her.

“Oh,” she sighed, delighted, her eyes riveted to the wonderful ink sketch, “it is absolutely lovely! She is so pretty and, why, she is mixing dyes as well, isn’t she? Did you draw this? Because -”

Ristalia stopped short and also stopped herself from looking at the young man in front of her. Returning to her experimenting with her dyes, she finished in a much softer, more subdued voice, “I’m sorry, sir, you asked that I not look at your journal. And while you did show me the page, it was for comparisons sake, not for me to go chatter away about it, asking prying questions. I’m terribly sorry. I’m glad you found a paper that was to your liking. The color was a bit off, though, are you sure you don’t mind it? I could try to replicate the paper from the original exactly. If you’d like...”

She concentrated on matching the brown color, staring at her patches dye of tests, a pale pink creeping up her cheeks.

[Oh my goodness gracious EVERYTHING! Three pages, and I've made /one/ post. Here I've been sitting, reading all the posts for about ten minutes, and I think I'm ready to post. I think.

Oh, and I'm sorry for my absence yesterday. My brother had to scour universities, and I wasn't too keen, so I went to a friend's house. Thus, my unpostyness.

Jade - I agree with how confusing this fairy stuff is. Amusing though. XD

Meiou - I'm feeling the need to talk, so I'm going to pounce on the opportunity, since your character did fall right past Seed, and it would've been quite random if Seed hadn't noticed.]

Seed reeled back as someone stumbled quite quickly past him and fell into the river was a splash. The aforementioned someone had sprayed water all over Seed, and he didn't find this in the slightly amusing, because his wings were now wet.

Feeling like he needed to shout at the man, Seed didn't when he realised how wet, and seemingly annoyed this man was, and stood up. "Are you all-"

Another voice, however, cut across him, asking the man the same question. He listened to their dialogue for a moment, and as the man made to walk off, Seed felt he should say something.

"Hey!" he said irritably. "You know what you did, you got my WINGS WET!" He turned and pointed, very obviously, and his dripping and sorry-looking wings. "I won't be able to do anything with them until they're dry!"

Seed folded his arms and angrily waited for a response from the man, tapping his foot quickly on the ground.

He sighed. Jus great somone already yelling at him. Its times like this he missed his palace life but what could he do? He still hadnt found any way of helping them. He turned and faced Seed wrenching some of hte water from his facial furr and ears as they sat back up. "Dont you think ive got enough problems. If you must have them dry your welcome to follow but im not staying out here much longer."
