I got bored so I tried to give the grey shoyru bloodshot eyes to see what it'd look like. I kept a bit of grey in them cause I thought it looked nice, and also changed the face a bit. What do you think?

SWEET! I prefer the red-eyed version, it works quite well. I think the mouth was an improvment to-I'm not quite sure what was going on with the origanl mouth...it looks like it just kinda falls off the face!

theres only ONE thing i dont like about it...

it should be the darigan gelert.... because then what IS a darigan gelert going to look like? a mutant gelert should have extra feet... or tentacle ears.... and... eyes bigger than its feet.... spikes.... yeah.

What they always do: Wings.

No, wing sometimes add to the effect, but we musnt forget the bori...or aisha... or acara, or draik... or jetsam... or kau... or meerca... theres a few more..... which is why im saying a darigan gelert will probably end up looking the same... only maybe slightly different colors.

I actually really like your version Taika. It gives it a nice depressed sense, and the mouth is nicer. Good job!

I kinda gotta agree with you on this one, TWW.
Now that you mention it, mutant gelert would have been better as darigan. It's not mutated enough...just a big feral canine.

Mutant Gelert should have had an exter set of limbs, like mutant grusulen. If you made its fur color blue or purple, I doupt many would put it past that that it's darigan.

Mutant really has become blind to darigan...even tyrannian at times. I know Scythmantis said this either on here on NC.

Don't need wings to be darigan, just got to look evil/ a bit on the wild side.

Darigan should be more evil than mutant and certainly less mutated. Three heads is more fitting towards mutant. If this did have three heads, or even two, it'd be great. It's kinda "meh" for me at the moement.

The gelert is drawn cool and all, but it ticks me off that it's a mutant, because I constantly await new mutants to come out and I expect them to be, you know, MUTATED, so to me this is a "wasted" mutant. The Bruce, Tuskaninny and Koi were all absolutely perfect, then they go right back to making lame "angry" mutants with this and the hissi.

Both the gelert and hissi are mutated.

The gelert has absolutely no neck now, has a hunched back, has claws, and is bulkier in general.

If having two heads on a snake is normal, that's news. The arms on the mutant are cool too. They're the same size as the wings were, so the weirdness factor of gigantic arms that are mostly hands is present.

For a darigan gelert, I think that the overall shape should change less, i.e. just adding claws, spikes, anger, wings if you like.

If only they'd actually use it... *sigh* That "mutant" up there looks awesome, but it does serve so much better as a Darigan.

Maybe they were going for a more darigan-esque regal effect for the 'darigan' gelert? IMHO I love the mutant one - maybe it keeps things cheaper for those who just cant dish out 1.4 mill :P

XD; Well, boredom tends to make you draw wierd, derranged things. Lots of fur would be interesting, but adding wings to a darigan gelert seems almost too bulky or too much like the lupe >.o

(Oh and I didnt finish the hind leg or clean up the lines cause I'm lazy :P)
