Marty poked the salt shaker with his wand, wished it to whizz forward. "Come on," he muttered, "
come on!" He made a violent flicking movement with the wand, which caused the shaker to fall backward, spraying salt over his food. "Damn!" he said loudly.
With a flick of his wand, he removed the salt. "
Wingardium leviosa," he muttered, and the salt shaker levitated. Marty allowed to to drop, causing it to fall forwards and fall on the person opposite's food.
"Oops, sorry." Unbeknowst to him, he had thought he was playing with one shaker, but one a bit further up the table had been hovering just over someone's food when he left it drop. He looked up to see whose food he'd intentionally, and yet unintentionally, destroyed.

Kari sat in the Great Hall among her fellow Slytherins. She was watching the Gryffindors at their table, thinking of what she could do to them. She, of course, would rather cause some unnatural pain to them, but she knew that would land her in trouble. Maybe she would cast densaugeo on one of them.
She was pondering this thought when she realised the time. She had to get going or she would have to face another detention with the headmaster. She sighed as she rose from her hair and began to drag her way towards the Slytherin common room, where she had left her books.

Eithne managed to eat with little more trouble than glares from some of her fellow Slytherins. As soon as she'd finished she rose hastily form the table, gathering her books in her arms; she needed to repair her bag. She began towards the exit of the Great Hall, heading for the library. She could wait out the rest of lunch there before class began.

he watched some of the goings on here and there before going back to his book. He was studying for some of his classes. Occasionly he would stop to eat and look over at some of classmates curious to see what they were up to.

Kari saw Eithne leave the table, and decided to follow her to see where her fellow Slytherin was going. She hastily stood up from the table, muttered something along the lines of "Later..." and left the Great Hall, only to find she couldn't see where Eithne went. Upset her plan of harassment would not work on the first year, she turned towards the Common Room.

Irwin was thinking deeply, and was absent-mindedly picking at his food when, suddenly, a salt shaker dropped on his plate of mashed potato. Giving a small cry of surprise, he looked to the opposite side of the table, where he saw a blond haired boy with strange light green eyes. He laughed as the boy apologized, then, wanting to make conversation, said, "Hi, my name is Irwin. I'm in year 5. I believe you're in year 6?"

May looked over at the a group of girls, a little farther down the Ravenclaw table. For some reason, she could never get along with her fellow fifth years...
Well, maybe if you picked your head up out of a book, you'd make friends!, her conscience said.
Shut up... well... maybe..., she thought.
Glancing down the table once more, she turned her attention back to the book she was currently reading, "Achievements in Charming"
Sun Jul 24, 2005 11:40 pm
Eithne walked quickly and determinedly, hoping to get out of sight before anyone could follow her; she was almost certain someone would trail her from the hall. If she could just make it to the library before encountering anyone, she'd be fine...Madam Pince would never allow any sort of discourse in the library, making it a safe retreat.

He noticed that May had her nose in the "Achivements in Charming" book again and took out his wand and with a flick and the right words he floated a book down to her. This happend to be "Paths of a Charmer" .
LilEdit: Please write at least three sentencees of role play. Thank you!

Grace scowled at her cousin, Marty, who had just ruined her lunch. But quickly straightened her face. She didn't want to look like Anka.
"MARTY! Do you HAVE to be SUCH a Clutz?" She shouted at him.
She shoved her plate to the side and got a new one. She began angrily slapping onto it some more food while trying to avoid looking at him. She wasn't sure if she could stop herself from jinxing him if she looked at him.
Anka over the other side of the room was still scowling. There were the Blood Traitor. Marty, the bumbling idiot, had just accidentaly poured salt over Grace's, the annoying one, food. He felt the urge to laugh but held it in.

Liora hurried to Griffindor common room, clutching at her bag, which was heavy and full of books. If she was quick enough, she could finish off that Potions essay that she had been putting off for too long.
Suddenly she collided with something so strong and hard that it knocked her over and split her bag open. Liora landed painfully on a particular big book called, "How To Get More From Your Plants"
Liora looked up to apologise to the person she had walked into. It was Callan. Although they spent alot of time around each other, Liora didn't know or like Callan that much. He was too silent and serious.
He was glaring at her. He held a hand out to her and helped her up.
"You should look where you're going," he said, and walked off.

[CD - Marty already spilt the salt over Shadow's food, but I'm happy to edit my post and make him play with two salt shakers.

]
Marty nodded. "Yeah, I'm in year 6. 5's OWL year. What do you think you're going to-"
Marty stopped suddenly as he realised he had spilt not one, but two salt shakers, one had gone over Irwin's, but the other...
Marty dived under the table just as Grace started screaming. When she had finished, he groped around and pulled himself back up. "Hey... Grace... never send a howler... whoever you send it to will go deaf..."
Rubbing his ears, he grabbed his school bag and looked over at Irwin. "See you later," he muttered, and left to the Gryffindor common room to get his books for Potions.

Marie usually was in the center of attention, giggling and talking to her many friends- but tonight her more studious side was appearing. She ate without really knowing what she was eating, her spoon or fork often frozen up to her mouth; for she was reading a book steadily, and quickly, her eyes zooming this way and that. She hardly could hear the noisy din around her, and simply kept on reading.
((Sorry stupid introduction...

))

(lol it seems like all the ravenclaws are bookworms!)
He would finish eating and look around the table as he also finished his book. Seemed like everyone was reading or something. He threw his books into his bag.
