I think the reason they vagued out the Nimmo day background was because the BG was too busy and took away the effect of the two nimmos. x_x Though the water was really detailed too - something just didn't work out - though there was a lot of effort put into the picture.

@ Scream: x_x I honestly don't hope so - the last time someone tried to rip off my BC picture, they submitted it to the wrong category. If it did, I wouldn't be surprised to see my random fan concept hissi labeled as a uni >>;

You know, I am so enamoured with this new faerie hissi now that I even started some quick fanart/concept design for my faerie hissi-to-be (one day I tell you!). What I noticed is that I think the official faerie hissi looks a bit 'fat' because of its belly fur - its supposed to puff out slightly. The one I did has less 'puffage' and therefore looks depraved (hopefully this also slightly answers the questions on why you don't make your faerie hissi too thin):

Yet those (pteri and buzz) are two of the most popular baby pets. There's plenty of baby pets that are just cutified versions of the original with large heads, it's nice to see some great creativity at work along side those

so what's one more? why can't they pick some other pet to make "original"? why the already cute nimmo? why can't they just leave it alone and do something that is halfway productive (like revamp the tuskinny, or work on making a war system that is FAIR for instance). why do they always mess up all the things that were fine the way they were? i mean SURE its CREATIVE, but that doesn't necessarly mean that it looks good.

Not everyone thought it was fine the way it was, and plenty of people like it this way the same amount or even better and obviously tnt prefer it this way seeing as the first one was never released. It's creative and I really like it, and for those who don't like big headed baby pets it's even better as most baby pets are like that.

Well, I don't know about you- but when I think of babies, I think of cute, slobbering, and little.

I can understand why a Halloween Pet or something like that should not really be "cute"- but I don't get why a baby pet can not.

I gotta say, I like the Nimmo, and it is a realistic pet, not small frog, big head. I think it is rather cute, but honestly, it doesn't bother. At least it isn't like the Draik, Kyrii, Mynci, Grundo... etc.

I didn't like the Hissi when I first saw it, but it is growing one me. I would never get one, but it isn't terrible. The nimmo, I think is great. A baby frog is a tadpole, so it makes sense that the nimmo be a tadpole IMO. I think it is nice
