# Many years ago today was the day that Tyrannia was freed from the clutches of the evil Monoceraptor. To mark the anniversary of this special event the whole of Neopia holds a celebration.

# Your Neopet can re-enact the battle of Tyrannia with these action figures of the Tyrannian council.

# We have increased the ratio of Neopoints that you earn in Attack of the Revenge.

# Many thanks to everyone who sent in their Haikus. The Random Contest is now closed, and we will announce the winners after next week. (Sorry swamped by war stuff).

# You can now create your own customised Neopets t-shirt, hoodie, tank top etc. with Zazzle. You can choose what style and of shirt, what image goes on on it, and what phrase/wording you want to add to it.

# For today only, the Wheel of Monotony is being rather generous with its prizes.

# There are some new Shopkeepers for you to choose from featuring Tyrannian Petpets.

# The Tyrannian Furniture Shop has some new things for your Neohome on sale.

# Faeriestories is this week's Neoadventure Spotlight winner with their adventure - Roll Play.

"The horror! The agony! There are some things in life you just don't do, and stealing another's fresh baked banana rolls is one of them! Quick, after him!"

# Can you unlock this cute Niptor avatar?

# War Update - Just to clear things up, you MUST choose a side before the fighting starts, or you will not be able to participate in the battle (as a fighter or support class) at all. We will be closing the recruitment centre on Monday/Tuesday of next week.

# There is a new Tyrannian themed Blog for your shop.

# This week's PPL award has been given to the Stego. Well done Seabreeze, Lego, Stinky, Spikey, Stegem and all the others.

# On Friday we will be taking the Stockmarket offline for a few hours for some maintenance. This should take approximately three hours, but we will try to get it back up as soon as we can.

# There is a new page of Tyrannnian themed Poems for you to look at.

# Poogles and Bori can now be painted Tyrannian!

# All of the Tyrannian themed games are giving out better prizes today, so make sure you give them a whirl.

# Congratulations Ninny_chan and _Nincompoop, you are now the proud owners of a Site Spotlight trophy.

# Tennas, Polarchucks, Snowickles and Carmas can be transformed into these furry Tyrannian versions with the aid of the right paint brush.

# Can you solve Tiggycatlover's Pirate Cave Of The Week - Curry Chambers?

# A new Lenny Conundrum competition has begun. The answer to last week's was FAERIECAVESIIFYORASQUEST. 5080 people guessed the correct answer earning themselves 394 NP each.

# There are pages and pages of Tyrannian themed fan art for you to appreciate in the Art Gallery.

# Can you beat Grarrg's score at Chia Bomber II? He is the latest Better Than You challenger.

That. officially. sucks. What the heck? We can't even see how things go before signing up? And then after the war starts we can't sign up? What if someone is away or their internet has been down or something. I think this is a pretty bad/unfair idea. >.<

On another note:

How cool are those? I so want a firepit in my neohome now. <3

Indeed, I'm not pleased that you have to choose whether you want to be Warrior or Support BEFORE you get to find out what Support actually DOES.

Sure, that makes sense.

I suppose I was going to choose Warrior anyway, but still.

I'm pretty annoyed about how we must sign up now. But, nothing we can do about that. The action figures are pretty cute and the new petpets are great. (Espicially the Polarchuck! X3)

I spun the Wheel of Monotony to see if it'll really give me a better prize than usual (I guess anything would be better than my usual "prize" of being sent to the lair of the beast). It's going to take two hours. I spun the Wheel of Mediocrity and got 200 NP. Heh. Anyway, the news says "all of the Tyrannian themed games are giving out better prizes today," but what does that even mean? What prize-giving games are there besides the wheels?

Yay, I don't why but I like tyrannian victory day :D They should give free training for all tyrannian pets, heh xD

I love love love the snarhook shopkeeper, I was hoping for a shop blog that would look good with it but I'm none too keen on the niptor one they've made :/ Ah well, the shopkeeper is good enough I guess <3

I was wondering about the games as well, wheel of mediocrity gave me 50np *snort* and the wheel of monotony is spinning. I guess they've just increased the likelihood of getting something good (if everyone just got the good stuff from the monotony wheel after all then you could cue moaning about deflation of tyrannian pbs ;)) but I don't see how any other tyrannian games can do the same o_O

Can you say... The rock?

Edit: Oh, and btw, I think the war signup thing rocks, that way no one can really have an advantage that someone else doesn't. For example, let's say joe shmoe signed up for a warrior before the battle, and joe goe decided to wait. joe shmoe is stuck being a warrior, even though he may not be that good at it, but joe goe has the advantage of being able to select what he wants to do, and can therefore possibly do better in the war than joe shmoe can. I dunno, I think it's just better this way.

Bah, I got a lottery ticket from the WoMo. If I don't win the lottery now after waiting more than two hours for that, I'm going to be annoyed. ;)

My pet whacked itself with the rock, and the wheel of mediocrity gave 10 NP. Doesn't seem to give better prizes . . . o_O

This week's PPL award has been given to the Stego. Well done Seabreeze, Lego, Stinky, Spikey, Stegem and all the others.

Sadly, I don't think I've ever received np from PPL, 10K is kind of hard to miss (my stego is 1194 days old)

I think you only receive NP if you made it into the high scores?
