Doesn't the "Name:" field in your profile suffice for that?

Well, you could always put something like "o_0" as your display thing.

There's one of those "titles" that goes under your name that is "0_o"
Perhaps a custom title would work better? You could always say with that "Real Name: Mike", or have something completely different. As with the "real name", username, and title, I think it'd get big...

I agree. Even though I canceled my premium after 4 1/2 months of using it. Not enough features for 8 bucks, and plus, im quitting Neopets. xP

I just used that as an example (seeing as that's my username here).

Ok, I've been reading everything, as I always do when it's something really interesting like this topic and there have been alot of great suggestions. The ones I like (and some I mentioned in an earlier post on this topic):
1) the ability to have all accounts on one IP/computer be able to be added to Premium - just for ad blocking and premium board. Not even the portal or webmail. So if, say, a mom, dad, 3 children all have accounts, or there are 3 roommates who all play Neopets all with different emails -- whoever signed up for Premium would have full benefits - portal, space faerie sc, webmail, etc. The other accounts would just have no ads and access to the premie board. Sound fair?
2) in keeping with the above, the ability to "flag" your own sub-accounts with the same email (gallery, lab, guild, etc.) as secondary accounts that would not be able to make no np from shops, games, dailies. The only way to get np to those accounts would be to use the tp from your main account. Which I think is the rule now, but it would be easier to not accidentally do something on a sub account. With the username at the top of the page, it now would be very easy to make a mistake like playing a game or going to the omelette if that's the first account you log into each day.
3) Also, the ability to transfer items between all accounts WITHOUT Neo thinking you're "multi-ing". Say if you want to close a gallery, you could just use send to neofriend back to your main account, or if you want to send a gift to another person using the same computer, that can be dicey right now.
4) the ability to be able to transfer pets only within all linked accounts, whether they be secondary accounts of your own or accounts with other family/household members. No np of course involved except the adoption agency fees. (This should be done for everyone really. Too many lost pets trying to just get them to another account.)
5) access to separate, faster support to deal with warnings, suspensions, unfair/wrongful freezings to be dealt with in a timely manner and truly looked into. Most people who are willing to spend real life money are not going to try to scam, hack or otherwise deliberately break any rules. I believe if you are paying for a service, you should get service.
The ability to organize sdb, shops, etc. is one that would be nice for everyone. I don't know if that's feasible. Sounds like a nightmare to try to implement to me.
Another thing I'd like to see just in general, and this has been discussed before, is a way to "lock down" your pets, weapons, well everything! I know you can temporarily lock your bank until the next neoday, but we need more than that if someone should get into your account.
I also think they should bring the security code for login back. I know it's not perfect, nothing is, but I did feel a little bit better having that there. Using a different name to log in other than your real username, I don't know about. What if the name you choose happens to be someone else's username! Then you could be frozen for trying to access an account.
As to a "premium" restocking anything, well that would not be fair. Neither would increasing np or number of game plays. I would like to see something for those of us on dial up (especially since the Premium ISP is dialup - no I don't have that) or on slower, older computers. What though, I don't know. As long as there's ab'ers even people on high speed are at a disadvantage. The rest of us are just at more of a disadvantage when it comes to restocking and even many times auctions. The pages just load too slow for us.
Lastly, and I think most importantly for everyone - members and staff - a revamped and complete T&C, list of do and don't, and please someone from TNT if you're reading this: Get all your support staff on the same page. People are still getting old email information regarding multiple accounts - that they can play games on other accounts, that they can do dailies on other accounts as long as they switch days, that they can use a shop on other accounts to sell things. That goes against what appears to be written in the T&C and what other people have gotten as an answer. That no, you cannot do dailies or play any games or sell from a shop on other accounts. Which IS the right answer?!
OK, end of way too long post.

Better than having them see items 30 seconds before regular users, or making regulars not be able to see R99s, and only letting premium RS them.
If anything like this is implemented, I quit. End of story.
That's the point...to motivate you to get premium. It costs 8 bucks (?). I spend more than that on junk food and impulse purchases in any given week.
Any of these suggestions will be seen as unfair by non-paying members. But right now there is almost no incentive to buy premium...if you look at other p2p (pay to play) games, there is usually a huge difference between f2p and p2p, such as member only items, quests, and priority customer support.

Hmmm, for it to work you'd just need the log in name to be chosen the same way as a username, ie it tells you if a name is already taken for a username or log in name. The log in name wouldn't have to be pretty though like usernames so using numbers and stuff in it wouldn't be so big a deal. They could even allow spaces or other characters to give you more choice and prevent your preferred log in name being taken as a username =)
Once you'd chosen you wished to have this extra layer of security, someone entering your username in the log in box would be told something like "this username cannot be logged in".
It would be too hard for a lot of young kids to remember this extra name but if it was optional it would be nice to have it for the paranoid amongst us *is paranoid* while leaving it so that people who don't need it can go without

Plus if you could do that you wouldn't need to be able to lock down things - you whole account(s) would be locked down permanently =)
I agree with everything else, clarifying the rules would be handy too.

But then everyone would call themselves Jazz (jazz_invincible), or Helen (hrobi).
Well, obviously there is more than one person in the world and in Neopets called Jazz (I've seen a few in the chat and not jazz_invincible) and obviously much more than one person called Helen.

The whole name idea actually seems pretty good, so long as the person's Username is clearly visible. Otherwise, the potential to scam is huge.
