I was on a board, and someone talked about Britney Spears imitating Gwen Stefani in her new video for Do Somethin'. Well, I listened to it, it had a bit of a gwen aire about it. But what really caught my attention is that I think it sounds abit bette rthen her usual songs. Anyone else think this new voice suits her?

For some reason that voice doesn't even sound like her. In my opinion, it isn't any better, it's just different.

Well Gwen's voice is crap too; so perhaps it's a question of the lesser of 2 evils...?

Pfft. Her voice may be crap, but No Doubt was a staple band of the nineties. 8)

Considering their albums have done very well, and their album "Tragic Kingdom" sold over 7 million copies, I believe they've hit. Let's wait for an actual miss shall we?

Gwen Stefani has a wonderful voice! Listen to it carefully she has a great vocal range too better than a lot of singers out there ie Britney

I think Britney should be burned at the stake for trying to imitate Gwen...

We all know the public's fabulous taste in music; what with Gareth Gate's hit singles and whatnot...*longs for a better eyerolling smiley*

Ammer, love, you can't rate a band's good-ness on album sales. Christ, that'd make The Spice Girls fabulous and erm...let's not go there?
They recently released a singles compilation. Some singles are good, some aren't very good. Therefore, hit and miss.

ithankyou.

Do Somethin' is one of the worst songs I have ever heard. I mean, I don't even think it's that catchy, at least her recent songs have been catchy. Her voice sounds completely abysmal on it. I don't think she's that good a singer anyway, but she does sound somehow worse/different on Do Somethin'.

Some of the worst songs ever have been big sellers. *nods* The truly awful songs like that Bryan Adams one. I don't even need to say the name. Urgh.

As with No Doubt, yes, definitely hit and miss. I mean Tragic Kingdom? Golden. Rock Steady? Hmm..oh dear.

Am I the only one scared by Gwen Stefani's Harawotsit groupies?

When the Spice Girls were released, they were unbelievable, at least to the people at the time. They even had had multiplantinum albums to prove it (Although, I'm not sure of the last one).

No Doubt has had more hits than miss. Many singles have been famous, very few haven't.

It's Harajuku Girls. Harajuku Girls are girls who basically hang around Harajuku Station dressed in "odd" outfits. They "set the style" for Japanese girls. Harajuku is also a "teenager district." It has a lot of stores. :P I did research on this for English class. o.o (It was analyzing lyrics to a song)
