Ahhh...just what I wanted to hear. :)

See, staff can be nice too. :)

Glad to see it didn't take more than a day....and best of all your items are still intact.

A happy ending, and it couldn't happen to a better person. :D

Don't thank me, thank staff.

Staff did an excellent job, not only did the reply quick, they worked hard and put in the extra effort needed to track down his items and make sure everything was restored, and all before the weekend hit. That was a great job on their part. The people on the support team work very hard, and deserve all the praise.

I wasn't here much lately, so I didn't see your board (couldn't console you) but I'm so happy that you got your account back! :)

Sat Mar 12, 2005 8:43 pm

Oh, congrats, Addict! I'm glad to hear that persistance pays off. ;)

Congrats on getting unfrozen and still having everything here. :)

Val, that must have been quite a letter you wrote to Carmen. What a sweet thing for you to do.

And, ditto, congratulations on getting your account back! And, everything intact. Sweet.

And, hey, if there are any TNT staffers lurking about, you guys are the best. My hat goes off to all of you.

We were all complaining about TNT being idiots before, but now we're celebrating! I think they're getting smarter and smarter! They're adding some nice stuff, unfreezing innocent people, etc. Let's hope they keep like this for the Maraquan plot. Eh, but who knows with an owner like Doug Donut...

Anywho, congrats Neopets Addict, and great job TNT! A happy ending after all.

Aww..man, I really wish I had your luck. I was frozen falsely. NO REPLY! :(

Oh, I will admit that I did more than my fair share of complaining about Neopets in the past (I hear people saying, "Yes, Morningstar, we know")--lost items, glitches, etc.

But never the staff. They have always been nice to me--unfroze my daughter's account in less than 24 hours, gave back my items lost in the SDB glitch with a sweet little note, and even wrote me stating that they would investigate into the reason why my Adam plushie turned into a flaming evil coconut. Still a coconut but at least I got a personalized email saying it would be looked into.

It is so easy to blame the staff for stuff--when, in essence, they are just paid servants of the Neopets corporation. They don't make the policies or decide how many employees are needed to police the site, etc. Yet, they are first to be blamed when things go awry. Kind of like yelling at the waitress when the food is burnt.

However, it does seem like Neopets is changing its customer service policy--as we have just witnessed with ditto's unfreezing. Hopefully, it is a sign of even better things to come.

You're right, I've never thought of that before. (But then again, I am an unknowing 12 year old kid, while you're an experienced mother) Next time, I won't complain about the staff. And I do hope that Neo is changing the customer service, that would be just wonderful! :)

That's weird but great for you!
