Qanda surveys the twelve people standing in front of him.

“So, you all have chosen to join this game, PPT Survivor. I hope you know what you have got yourself into. Out of 24 hopefuls, only 1 person will emerge from this game as the sole PPT survivor!” he proclaims majestically.

He continues, “You have been separated into two tribes (totally randomly, may I add), each with their respective threads to post on. As this is the first day, there are many things to see to. Firstly, you need to select a tribe name to represent yourself, and secondly, elect a tribe leader.

“There is a twist, however. While you may discuss the choosing of your tribe name freely on the thread, the election of a tribe leader should be done in secret. You must not let the other tribe know who you have selected. Conduct your discussions in private, and once you have come to a decision on who to represent your tribe as tribe leader, the chosen one must PM me saying that he/she will be the tribe leader. The first tribe to complete these two tasks successfully, wins immunity.

Summary of activities:

1) Choose a tribe name (can be dicussed on thread). The tribe's name must be only one word.
2) Elect a tribe leader (must not let the other tribe know who you are electing. You can post red herrings on the thread to mislead them though).
- Chosen person must PM me personally.
- If I receive PMs from two or more different people of the same tribe saying that they will be the tribe leader, that tribe will have failed.

First tribe to complete the above two tasks wins "immunity", and will only have to vote out one person at the coming tribal council (losing tribe has to vote out two). Both tasks must be completed within 36 hours of this post.

Anyway, I suppose we need to choose a name... it seems a bit quiet here. Hm, what about DejaVu? Or, if B is going to be Mafia, we could be Angels or Werewolves or something.

So, when someone actually gets here, PM me so we can talk about getting a leader... Have someone in mind, just pick someone. Preferably someone who will be active.

Yay, Tribe B! Well, seeing as I'm the third person here, I guess I'd better get started.


I don't particularly care for the name Angels or Warewolves. Having only one name is a little limiting, I will admit. Let's see, how about.......... well, since I think having tribe names in other languages is cool, how about Fuerza? Or Triunfo? The first means Force, the second means Triumph.


As to the Team leader, I'd rather wait until more people are on to try to choose one.

Personally, I doubt it matters much what we call ourselves, so long as we can agree on something. I'll go with the majority here...

Yeah, but as for the leader... we can start thinking, or at least figuring out how to choose...

If I would name our tribe, I'd name it Arrow.

Or Valentia, Greek for strength.

lol I like Arrow, although I'm not certain naming a tribe after a Chicken would be the biggest morale-booster.

Well, if we get a few more votes we'll probably go with Valentia, for speed's sake.

As to the name, I assume either the team leader tells Qanda the team name, or someone simply posts on here that everyone has agreed to one name.

And does anyone know for certain if we're allowed to read the other team's board, even if we can't post there? I assume, from Qanda's first post, that we are, but I want to be sure.

I'm pretty sure we can... I mean, you can't stop people from doing so, so eventually someone would either purposefully or accidentally read it anyway if we couldn't. o_o

I really want to know because I'd love to see how far Team A was....... I'm reeeeealy hoping that they're just chatty, rather than accomplishing anything.

So that's like, four votes for Valentia, right? Three more and we'll have a majority. Then we'd have to get Scott to shoot it or something...
