OK, maybe I am being too logical here--I tend to do that. But how exactly do you know that it works on the majority of neoboard users? Unless you have some sort of firsthand knowledge or are conducting some sort of random poll (like A. C. Nielsen does) of the neoboard users, you really can only guess whether it is or is not working on the majority.

Well, that is indeed quite a clever scam, but the scammed person only has himself to blame for helping someone else cheat and for using the same password for every account. I mean, which wise person uses the same password for all his accounts? If the password for one account leaks that's it, all your accounts are endangered.

I would like to point out another fault this scam has. As you know, you cannot just "send" neopoints the way you can items.

Qanda, I agree totally about the need to have different passwords for everything. But, that is only because, due to my age and the length of time I have been playing, I am savvy to scammers. I don't know if the kid who just started playing would be as cautious. And, unfortunately, that's who the scammers prey upon.
