What's annoying is training your pet and then its stats going down again ><;;

I've had the lab for aaaaaaaages now. 
I had it on my other account for a long time but I lost access to it (it was 4 years ago, I was in 5th grade and forgot the password and hadn't put the correct email in)
and when I bought it for my whitewolfgoddess account, I was irritated because I had to spend [sarcasm] sooooooo much [/sarasm] to get it - about 5k per piece. haha. ah, the naivete.
I need to go get that scientist as a challenger. I've had the lab for ages and never got him..I think..maybe I should check my challenger list. *muses*
EDIT: I don't have him and I've been refreshing for a couple minutes with no luck, so I'll try again tomorrow

the lab ray is annoying. it colored my acara maraquan, but i already have a maraquan acara. just my luck
4 robot lupes and counting...all I want is a Halloween Lupe
Not to complain though, I recently got Cocojub, and it put me above 300 boost for strength and defence...recently its given me better things after a week of stat decreases and gender changes. The trick is just to stay with it...the good balances out the bad

The lab ray is just too random for me. A glitch gave me the lab for free, but I don't really want to use it. There's way too much at stake for my pet to lose (can't afford morphing potion or pb), so I have no choice but to train him the old fashined way.

bdd, I remember that glitch (for some weird reason). I'm glad you're not using the lab due to that one. Many people did (and yes, some did get frozen for it while others went unnoticed).
The lab, for me, is too random for training purposes. The high hp/strength vs. low level/defense is what you normally see in stats. A true pain if you decide you want to train in defense - which is important for some weapons to be more effective, along with getting those boosts!
I use the lab, but I use it to adopt, heal, zap till painted or decent beginner stats, then put in the pound for adoption and start over. My current lab pet turned snow yesterday! So he'll be going to the pound today. Before that, he changed gender every day for the past week!

Jake, there was this weird glitch where people had only part of, or even just 1 piece of the secret lab map and with that got access to the lab ray -able to use it and keep it.
I do know that some people were frozen for it (taking advantage of a glitch), but most were just confused and were honest enough to not use the lab and to send a bug report saying there was a problem.
I'm pretty sure that one is long fixed (hope so anyway).

D'oh I accidently got lab access in a glitch(what time was it?) and I've been using it for.... or so months. TNT never bother to answer anything I send them
(or anything anyone sends them) so who would want to know...

If someone had a Male Royal pet, and if they used a Strange Potion (or Lab Ray) would it turn into the other counterpart?

Good question...if you were WANTING to do it, then I would say that the Strange Potion would be the best way to go since the Lab is too unpredictable. I bet it would work though, because what else would it do? If I had a Male (or Female) Royal pet and a strange potion, I would try...but I don't.

Many people either A.) Use the lab simply for asthetic reasons or B.) Have decided on being an offensive fighter already.
Many people use the lab because they want fast training.
Extremely strong pets may use the lab because they cannot use the training school anymore.
The reason you see so many people with high strength and HP, and pitiful defense is because they labbed for so long.
The Lab is also the reason you see such a lack of defensive fighters these days.
It's much harder to train defense. You'll most likely be paying codestones for every defense point you get, until you max out at the training school.
Then comes the horror of Silver Knight Neggs.
Anyway, all and all, I hope whoever uses the lab to train knows that they'll be playing some major catchup if they want high defense.

Actually, I wouldn't have used it anyways. I said I wouldn't use the lab because it's too unpredictable for me. I'll stick to training the good old fashioned way. It's the best way to keep good defence as well as offence and HP.
