Dear Neopets,

I believe that you may have frozen my account falsely, my main account was Xalaxracer, which was frozen in my opinion falsely, something not of my doing.

I may be wrong, but I think you have misfroze (Is that even a word :P)

First I must say that I only played games and restocked to make money from my main account - Xalaxracer, I restocked at the Bakery frequently, buying and selling items to make hefty profits, and played a few games daily such as Ultimate Bullseye, Whack-A-Kass, and Dubloon Disaster, some of my favorite games, that I played on a regular basis, 3 times a day, from my main account, Xalaxracer.

My main account Xalaxracer was were I kept everything I had, at the time of my freezing, I had a Tyrannian Paint Brush in my inventory or in my Safety Deposit Box (I can't remember which), that I was attempting to sell, after originally planing to paint one of my Kougras on my side account with, but that plan backfired, and I decided to sell it, because I pratically (Spelling) had no money.

On my main account, I owned a Usukiboy Usul, which was named FatChub74, or Fatchub as I called him, I hand painted him myself, on a late evening after I was done with playing Neoquest II for the day, I bought the Usul Transmogification (Spelling) Potion and the Usuki Paint Brush myself, out of my pocket money. Celdrik, on the other hand, was a Ghost Draik, she was orginally a Blue Grundo made in the Virtupets Space Station, and immedeately (Spelling) morphed into a Ghost Draik at birth, and then given Keidrik, a Ghost Dragoyle, which matched her colors perfectly!

FoeMaster on the other hand was a mysterious lab pet, that always changed, he had very good stats, due to labbing, I made him when I first got onto Neopets! Iaceo on the other hand was very special to me, she was a Female Tyrannian Krawk, she loved to read, and was my favorite pet.

This all changed one day, I did my usual, got home from school, got ready to log on, and I got a message that I was frozen, saying this: This account has been FROZEN for the following reason:

This account was attempting to give away, sell or trade a Neopets account or pet for Neopoints or items.

If you think the above reason was applied to you by mistake, please contact our support staff by clicking here. Don't forget to include your USERNAME and explain why you think your account should not have been frozen. If you DID break the rules, please do not contact us again. Your account will NOT be unfrozen and you will not get your Neopet or items returned. But, you are welcome to create a new account, as long as you follow the rules.
Remember to read our Terms and Conditions thoroughly.

It wasn't my own doing, as the night before, when I logged off, my account was perfectly in order. I have no idea what happened, all I know is that I had nothing to do with it, I have a theory that someone may have accessed my account, and started to start selling my pets, trading, or something, seeing that I did have pretty nice pets, or tried to sell my account. I have no idea -sighs-

I saw that it said "If you think the above reason was applied to you by mistake, please contact our support staff", so I decided to contact you, today.

My account was not the only account affected, my other accounts Xalaxgallery, Kreludangallery, Xmasworld, and Lakeofkikos, and in addition to that, my sister's storage account, cityofmaraqua.

I have no idea at all why I was frozen, but I thank you for your time.

Could you possibly give me more information on what I did to get frozen

Also, my password for my main account was REMOVED, to prove that it was mine.

Should I add anything else?

For a backround note, my account was frozen falsely..

I don't think the first few paragraphs were necessary... I think you should just cut the chase and say why you did not attempt to sell your account.

Wouldn't be talking about what I had on my account be necessary?

There are a few grammerical errors, but otherwise, it's great. Good luck!

If you assume that someone used your account when you were absent, then it would be. However, do you think you were frozen because someone took over your account and tried to sell stuff?

well, I think it adds a nice touch on the things you really cared for. However, the main accounts name does appear a lot. lol
Just maybe another paragraph assuring thet, you in fact did not try to sell your pets or your account.

Yes, if you don't say what you had done on that account before freezing, they won't give it back.

Looks good. A few grammar errors but after spell check you should be good to go. I hope you get your account back very soon :)

Looks pretty good to me... :D

But do not get your hopes up. A long time ago I was wrongly frozen and I thought I wrote such a great letter, and I even snail mailed it to them, but I wasn't unfrozen. So no matter how much sence your letter makes and no matter how much evidence you have you didn't cheat, Neopia is still not America. TNT does not believe in giving everone a fair trial. They believe "You are guilty until proven innocent." :(

Please take this only as constructive criticism because when I read your letter I knew that your heart was in the right place, but I have had a bit of experience in this area (two family members accounts were frozen and then unfrozen after letters were sent), so hopefully, my advice might be of help. Mainly: you really need to write the letter like it was an essay for school--introductory paragraph, then the meat of the letter, then a conclusion. You really only get one shot at a letter, so it has to be the best thing you can possibly write.

In your introductory paragraph, you need to grab their attention. Remember, they are reading tons of letters about frozen accounts, so you want them to read yours past the first couple of sentences. You need to show them that you are a real person that deserves to have their letter read. "Hi, I have been playing Neopets for x years and my main account was frozen on ____ for _____ . I think that it was a mistake on your part because I would never, ever do anything like that to jeopardize my account. So, I am writing to ask you to please rethink your actions."

Then in the next paragraph, tell them exactly what happened and when it happened. Give dates, etc. And explain that at the same time, your main account was frozen, so was your secondary accounts and your sister's account.

Then give your arguments/theories in the next few paragraphs. Basically, you need to try to figure out why they decided to freeze your accounts and then show them how they were wrong---sometimes that takes a bit of detective work. You need to take a real good look at what you were doing in the hours before you got frozen. Were you on the boards? Did you send a neomail or post in your guild? Were you on aim/msn with another Neo user or say something on PPT to get someone upset? Did you say something to someone that could have been taken the wrong way? If so, you need to state that and say that, even though you posted, neomailed, whatever, you never said that you would sell your pet, etc. You know that is against the rules.

Do you have a former friend (or upset sister or disgruntled PPTer) who has something against you and therefore would falsely report you? If so, point this out to Neopets in your letter. "I think that x was jealous of me and, therefore, reported me for something I didn't do, just so my account would get frozen," etc.

If none of this applies, then explain why and how you think someone may have gotten into your account and suggest this as a reason for the freezing.

In one of these paragraphs, you can also show them why you would never cheat: give some personal info about yourself that shows you to be an honest, real person (honor roll, member of your church, etc.). Remember, they only know you as a username--you need to show them that you are a real person who would not cheat. And, tell them that because you have had your account for x months and it has y nps and z valuable items (list them), you would not ever risk your account by cheating. Add how much you miss playing the game, your pets, etc.

Then do a closing paragraph: suggest that they made a mistake. Ask them to please review their actions and please unfreeze your accounts. And be humble and sincere. Say that you don't think you did anything that was against the rules, but if you did you are sorry. And, thank them for taking the time to look into this.

Best of luck to you in getting your account back. It is a shame that it was frozen. Let me know if I can be of any help, OK?

Grammer errors make people think you didn't put any effort into you letter, which is not true. I think that your letter was sincere, but you wrote it when you were still upset about what happened, right?

You might want to get your thoughts more orginized. Get to the point quickly, then add the details.

It seems to waffle on a bit, especially at the beginning. Also, it isn't really clear what you want them to do, it sounds like you're just confused. You should be more clear and direct, get to the point, be more formal, etc. and they'll be more likely to take you seriously. (just my opinion of course)

Other than that, good job.

Yeah, you need to put the main points on top (assert that you did not sell your account and write what you think may have caused the unfair freezing) and the nitty gritty details underneath.
