Don't think anyone's mentioned it yet, but I love their song With or Without You. It's considerably old, seeing that it's on my friend's 1995 karaoke machine. But it's a really GOOD SONG!!

I lurve U2.

Oh you kids. I enjoy how a song from 1995 is now considered 'considerably old'.

Well anything before 1990's just a write-off isn't it? :P

The best song on that album(IMO) is Sometimes you can't make it on your own. Its about bono's dad and just their relationship and his death. I can somewhat relate to iy so maybe thats why i like it but still you need to check it out and get the album its really really good!

Does this place me in the "odd man out" group? 1990, yet most of the music I like is at least 15-20 years older than me. So there.

Well, I don't know if this is the best place to put this, but I'm just trying to let my feelings about U2 be known.

I think they WERE a respectable band in the past, but in my eyes they've sort of 'sold out'. I was kind of thinking they were until I saw their commerical advertising iPod featuring 'Vertigo'. That was pretty much the point when I realized they will do anything for money.

But that's just me.
