The truth is, wars are fun and all, but the real winners aren't the goodies or baddies, but rather the merchants in-between, who look down at us and laugh as we buy their overpriced codestones and sparkshooters.

Ohhh, I guess in a sense you can, but if you're a fully fledged merchant, you can make so much more! Coz when you're a merchant, you don't use codestones or lab map pieces or TT Scratchcards or Weapons. You sell them!
But meh, I'm gonna battle. Waste 100k or so on overpriced codestones. S'all good.

I'd love that, seeing as I'm one of those merchants and I'm refusing to fight in the war. Most 'merchants' don't actually make that much money, only the major hoarder/BDers. I'll be happy if I make 100k off of everything I bought ahead of time. (And no, I don't buy once the war actually starts, and I don't purposely inflate anything) Of course, there's always that one item that turns out to be really good and shoots up price that you wish you'd bought more of.
