Heh someone must be messing around with the coding, Neo looks just fine in IE and Firefox, but in Opera...wow. I'd take a screenie but it wouldn't show the whole thing. The rollover sidebar image is sitting above everything else, then the flash ad is under that, then the rest of the page looks fine below all that.

Good thing Firefox is superior to Opera.

Use Firefox.

Don't use Opera. I have a Mac and have to deal with stuff like that all over Neopia *sigh* :(

Mongoose, what browser do you use on Mac? What's your version of Mac OS?

I don't know which version you're using but I use Opera and don't have those problems. (Mac OSX)

One reason (there are few) I don't use Firefox is for the ShopWizard.
Everytime you refresh you have that stupid box with "The page you are trying .....POSDDATA". Click Cancel or OK. That's annoying and slow you down for shopping cheap items. Does anyone knows how to turn it off?

And for restocking with Opera if you use the cache cleverly you are way ahead to everyone else. Combine it with the resizing (you can see a lot more items instantly)

Do you not realize you can't just hit the enter key?

And you're running OS X and using a browser besides Safari? Get Safari, posthaste.

You lose about 1/2 second. The time that the alert shows up, you reach the enter key and the alert box dissapear.

I seldom use Safari. Only on special occasions. For Neopets 90% Opera. Safari has the same problem as Firefox.
That's a useful feature if you're banking or shopping (for real) on the Internet. But for serious gaming it's a turn down.

And when you are using the wizard or even more with restock 1/10s of second are very important

I tried using Opera to play Neo but the sidebar worked funny, sometimes the links on it couldn't be clicked. In the end, I used Firefox instead. The "postdata" thingy is annoying, but you can just click back and enter again when using the shop wiz, instead of refreshing. Refreshing always takes longer, for me, anyway.

That was the first week when they introduced the side bar. Now it's fixed. That was not an Opera specific problem.

No, the problems in Opera with the sidebar happened before the sidebar was changed to the new one.

I rarely use Opera, but I do have a lab ray account logged in on it so I can zap without having to log in and out every day. It was still 'off' today, so I thought maybe it was some settings since I haven't found anyone else seeing that problem. Bingo! The holidays are here and someone visiting fiddled with my settings, grr. It was set to 'author mode' instead of 'user mode'. That separated out the sidebar and topbar elements for some reason. Like I said I rarely use Opera so I don't even know what that setting really does. Problem solved though :)

It'd be nice if one browser worked great across the board for Neopets. I often switch browsers to do different things. Opera had a huge problem with Neo's old rollover sidebar. Firfox is not the best for shop wiz. Blah blah blah, you all know the different problems. Even though I don't like it, I end up using IE about 80% of the time on Neo.
