Anybody have comments about the announcement on our World page? I'd like to know what you all think...

(and dont worry Stuff is not going to be a blatant attempt at pushing merchandise in people's faces...

it's cool but could use a more catchy name (ps. gimme some free stuff)

Ahh, that sounds like a very good idea! It'll make things much more organized, that's for sure. I always kind of wondered why "World" was named that, since Explore is so similar.

Anyway, it'll be nice to have seperate sections for everything. Good idea.

I think it's a good move. I never understood the prupose of the World page, and when I was new to the site I often confused it with Explore.

What's going to be left there? I remember the news announcement said something about the blogs/fun images/etc., but what's the rest of the 'stuff'?

Maybe Misc, Other, Things?

Stuff is going to be resources and a link to the merchandise catalogue so you can see all the stuff we make and put in the marketplace.

I like it. For me, World was always just a 'stuff' page, for Misc. things that didnt really have a home, so thew new name will fit with me. I'm glad by the change, and it will be good having things in places where they make more sense.

I like it. Being a more visual person, this is much more intresting for me to view. Though a little less informative.

When you said "Theives guild" you put it under "worlds" Does this mean your creating another world devoted to the theives guild? Is it going to be ANOTHER off shoot of meridel? Etc. etc.

Otherwise, Very nice. I can't wait for the Maraque exspansion set.

are you gonan put the quest thing on the pet central page? or do we have to go all through faerieland?

heee. I'm not worried about that - you guys are not pushy with the merchandise, imo.

I think it is super that the Coming Soon page is separate now. I also love that it's got images, just like the new search feature!

The new explore links make good sense - especially Weather being right there with all the different worlds.

I assume the "All Pets" and "Stats" lists are going to be linked with the new Pet Central. This is logical too, as long as you guys don't scrap them altogether! I love being able to see how the pets rank, and the "All Pets" is helpful with some of the Conundrums.

A whole category for "Stuff" sounds great. I mean, who doesn't want more "Stuff"???

Please don't forget about the Word of the Day, and a "Quests" link when you move them around.

Is the world page going away completely? I'm kind of attached to it since I use it to time restocking. lol

I like the idea of having a merchandise section of the site. (*ducks because she knows others are going to have a huuuge problem with this*) A complete list of the plushies with their retail prices would be wonderful. ^_^

Calling it "Extra" or "Extras" might work, because merch and wallpaper and such are all extra things from the site. Not terribly catchy though...

I always found it bothersome that you needed to go to Pet Central and then to My Inventory to get to the 'happy top bar tool thingie' that has everything on it (I know some people click on 'Shops" to get to it, but it's still two pages to get to Inventory!). I assume this new system will remedy that?

I mean the new system will be much more organized, although "Stuff" is very bland. I mean "Stuff"...who will know it's Neopets Merchandise? Why not just name the page "Neopets Merchandise"?

Oh yeah, when will Dice-a-Roo II come out? *cough* I mean, the new "Coming Soon" page is very spiffy

That's not very all-encompassing... I'm getting the feeling that this section is a kind of "we-don't-know-where-else-to-put-this-stuff-so-we're-sticking-it-here" type thing.
