I don't think the lab ray makes them unhappy, my lab rat stays at "delighted!" 24/7 unless it gets sick. My active pet (or whatever it's called) is the only one whose mood drops, and then I just grab a tombola key ring and obsessive-compulsively click the sumbit button on 'play with [name]' :)

I put my pets in the Lodge when I heard of the new RE, because I suck at feeding my pets and they're always dying :P

Once my gold chomby turned blue.

And another time my mates halloween lupe turned into a red chia, with NO RANDOM EVENT.

It was HORRIBLE.

I keep my pets in the lodge now.

You learn something new everyday...

I never knew that pets could change color based on a random event or based on their mood. My kau stays happy most all the time, even when I went on a trip for a few days and didn't have time to put her in the Neolodge. Also, I've never seen her hungry. She's gotten down to "fine" or "not hungry," but I'm thinking that's not the same as "I need food now" or whatever.

Hmm, my pet is in the Neolodge all the time and I've never seen her upset or angry, does the lodge do something for happiness levels?

What I'm scared of is that there're already 2 REs that will turn your pet back to one of the original colours, would TNT make another one that might turn your pet GREEN if they were sick for too long?*cough*

The next thing you know your pet will turn yellow because its too happy... Sunshine!! :D :D

I'm of the opinion that it does, yes. I always keep my pets in the lodge as well, and they're always either joyful or delighted.

. . . or if all of their friends had better toys than them, the green. cos they were jealous, you know.

My pet is sick because of the WoE, and in half an hour it went from extremely happy to unhappy. I tried playing with it many times, but it had no effect on mood. I even tried two different toys. The pet is in the neolodge, too.

I have a feeling I'm going to have a red pet very soon. I've been to the healing springs but no luck there yet.

My pets seem to be unhappy for whatever reason. I have never got the event and is not concerned about it. I just say if it does happen, oh well. :) No big deal when most of my pets aren't painted .

OK, thanks, Mongoose. I had taken somebody's advice from earlier in the thread and made my active pet one that wasn't painted a special color, so really I don't need to worry. To paint it back to the original color won't be all that expensive. Good point.

I noticed that my cybunny's mood and hunger drop very quickly. My other pets can be bloated and delighted but her levels start dropping right after I get her bloated and delighted. Maybe cybunny's just need more attention. She is the only one I worry about getting that nasty re on. On the good side, she is my only non-painted pet.
