Well, with neo being down and all, I've realized just how attached I've gotten to it...and just how long I've been here! Here some things that made me go and laugh at myself for being here this long:
On tineneohelp, seeing the old faeries...and realizing I recognized them...
Reading the NT editorial, and remembering how frustrated I got with theme parks
Playing meerca chase millions of times during downtime, and trying to visualize it the way it was when it first came out...a meerca chasing worms

I miss the days where you could get quests whenever you wanted from the faeries and when books didn't disappear after you read them to your pets. >_< Or when the hardest map for Kacheek Seek was a user submitted map featuring a large bookshelf in a library. Theme parks were frustrating and so was having to pay to upgrade your Neodeck. Oh, or when Eyries were Tatsus..

I remember when flavored Ice Lollies were 500 NP. Now they're like 6k or so? Should've saved them...also when I never tried getting NP and ever had like 1k at the most because I done REALLY bad...

-grins- I remember way back when I saved up enough for a blue cybunny transformation potion for my pet. It took weeks and weeks (keep in mind this was about two years ago) but I FINALLY saved up enough and bought one for my pet at the shop wiz price (at the time) of 65K. Those were the days... -sighs-

When theme parks were there, and the old crazy neoboards where noone ever replyed, and how you could get lab map pieces from the treasure hunt thing...that rocked.

I remember when I bought my first paintbrush.. faerie, and I think I paid all of 50k for it... and MAN that was alot of NP!

I remember the first week of playing Neopets jacko handed me a Faerie paint brush! After I sold it for like 100K I got another one from the AG.

@_@ I couldn't get 2 faerie paintbrushes these days if my life depended on it.

._o Oh, and I traded a silver pb for 2 codestones, and a gold one for 10K. *sighs* Back then, you were considered super rich if you had like.. 100K u_u;

If only we had the foresight to start saving them.

And yes! I remember those treasure map hunts XD;

I remember when the battledome was in beta testing and I was imagining some exciting Flash animated thing where you could see the pets using their weapons on each other.

Needless to say, I was disappointed!!!!

I remember when my roomie bought a hypno helmet for 25k... I remember theme parks, and never making one, and now wishing I had. I remember when you could buy stocks at 6. I remember selling a fire pb for 45k and getting a good price for it.

Yea, I remember when books didnt' disappear too, and I remember the rainbow fountain in faerieland when it was open (and I changed a green Eyrie into an Electric Kyrii by accident when I was trying to make it an electric Eyrie).

And just generally, you could actually *buy* things without being a 1337 restocker who uses programs or a neopets team brown-noser.

Oh man, I just remembered the Totems that you had to get to visit Mystery Island but in order to get them you had to sign-up for sponsor offers and it was the same with a Discount card to get cheaper prices from the shops.

I remember when most P/B's like the Faerie were buyable. Now they are beyond buyable.

I remember constant RSes.

Abuntant R/E's, and good ones with P/B's.

As many refreshes we wanted on the Wiz.

I remember the pets. The bruce (Forsythe) and the tigren. Since I had one.

And themeparks, which was pretty cool actually.

My oldest accout says 54 months. Not that I actually played non stop for that long

Oh don't forget the Macy Grays!



And the bruces looked like lounge singers instead of penguins.

Oooh theme parks...so fun
