Ok I have a question, Im half way through a game that I started before it went down, if I wait til it comes back up before I send the score, will it go through alright?

I think that depends what servers or systems are down. Last friday I played dubloon disaster all day during which Neo was down 3x in a row but I could still send score in the end and got the avatar. Just make sure to open a different flash game first and send score to see if the score database is back up.

If you have the flash/shockwave URL it works. But since even the normal flash games seem to be broken now ; I can't retreive the URL. Does someone have it in their history? I haven't played it in a while and it's gone out of my list.

While that is true, there still has to be something to display... clicking on Kreludan Mining Corp., for example, creates a window with the web location of http://images.neopets.com/games/g404_v4_26746.swf

now i know from a bit of research that HatIC is game 473, but I don't know what version it is, nor can I deduce the 5-digit suffix, in order to get the correct file.

I'm half-tempted to code a information gatherer that would continually guess until it found the proper file, but by that time I had it done, NP would be back up.

As an addendum to momo, and myself, it's possible that the proper swf doesn't even exist on the images server, which is usually available when NP is down. Even if it was in someone's history, the server it'd be pulling from wouldn't be available for communication. If it was in your local file cache, sure... but most of the games are setup to disallow caching of the file.

You can not have you're score sent and get the points while it's down. Nothing is there to send it too.

And I highly recommend you don't wait for it to be up later either, for if you send it in after they come back up, it will be considered cheating to the computer and you stand a decent chance of being frozen for that.
