What is your primary source of income?

We all talk about how much money we make, but how do you make it?

If you would like to further contribute to the dicussion, why do you choose that method?


Edit: forgot to post my own! I used to restock and made a fair amount of money that way. Then I found my way over to neodaq.com and found out how to make a profit in stocks. Now that I've invested a great deal I I make about 200k a week on the average (but a good chunk of that gets reinvested to make more money). On the forums over there, they report that once you have built up your portfolio, you can easily make a million a month!

Action games, luck and contests. Why? Because I'm too lazy to restock, don't understand stockmarket, too slow for auctions, too stupid for trading post deals, not patient enough for quests, too bored of refreshing in shop wizard and of course because my way of making np is fun.

I'm far too impatient for stock market and restocking... I want my Neopoints NOW NOW NOW! So I play action games, mostly the quick ones like Volcano Run and Meerca Chase (in fact those are the only two I really play at all).

I earn mainly through restocks, but I do buy 1000 shares per day as part of my "dailies". When I was on dial-up, I earned my np through luck games like turdle racing and scratchcards.

I never earn through playing flash games. The amount earned is a pittance. Maybe it is because I suck at them.

Zero - if your connection allows you to restock (anything 256kbps and above should allow you to do so), I'd say you'd earn much more than playing flash games. I earn around 20k every restock, which is every 10 minutes, and that makes the amount earned through flash games very laughable.

Wow, 20k? I would ask where you restock at, but I'm sure you would probably grab the right items before me anyways.

My main source of income shifts. First is was just flash games, until I earned enough NP to restock.

I started off at faerie foods, as I heard from Medli it was slow, and somewhat profitable, that lasted for awhile, until some of the foods declined in price rapidly, so I switched over.

I then restocked at regular petpets, for a measly amount of NP per restock. Afterwards, I did some shop wiz buying, and by closely observing the unreleased thread, I bought 1-2 of some of the still buyable petpet pbs and sold them for more once they inflated after the release of the new petpets. (a prime example is the grey petpet pb, bought 2 of them, one for 60k, another for 62k, and they are now around 75-90k) I did this for awhile near Halloween, because of the Halloween Commercialism. Then I went to the auctions, just barely nabbing some good items, but only for a couple of hundreds or thousands of NP less than it was on the wiz or TP. Next I decided to do faerie petpets, as I hear it is quite slow, just like regular petpets and faerie foods, and got about 7k per restock by buying miamouses and meekins. Then I stopped restocking, played some stocks, and I bought 4-5 1000 shares of some stocks, and only sold them when they reached doubled the payed price, which was usually 16-18k.

After all that, I am now happily restocking in one of the food stores, and so far, I've earned more in a day, then I did with the rest of the options I have done combined. So that's how I make NP.

Oh yeah, this is all after I spent 400k or so for a lab map I got dirt cheap compared to prices now.

My mian source of income is from playing action games and doing various quests. Snow, Kitchen, Esophagor...it is like exchanging a few hundreds np to thousands in a few mins. Not very reliable since sometimes quests can get expensive but it is a quick way to earn nps.

I agree with Zero. I can't seem to wrap my mind around anything but playing games, and since I've got no need for instant riches, they suit me just fine. I figure I'd be playing some sort of games with the computer, even if not on neopets, so why not play their games and get points for it?

I can't do any restocking or auction snipping, and I dont have the patience for anything else.

I also do snow faerie quests once in a while, but seeing she frozen ( ), thats not an option now.

I get my NP from games, quests and sometimes restocks.

When I used to play it a lot I got quite a lot from games, mostly action.

I make the majority of my np from games, most of them action. I do get quite a bit from chance games, but that isn't something to count on. I do a bit of reselling but not too much. Yes, games are definitely the np-maker for me.
