I agree
It's okay for them to arbitrarily set the price to whatever but to lie about it like that is unnecessary and annoying.
There are negitives and booby prizes. At least with the bad prizes on WoE and WoMediority you get a few np.
Exactly. And freebies like Coltzan's Shrine and the Tombola at least give you useful booby prizes. I mean, you can eat an ummagine or a box of trifle mix. What the heck are we supposed to do with Hagan's inane blathering? Or with stupid game codes that everyone already knows about? Gah, it's irritating. All the more reason NOT to visit the WoK.
Actually, you can lose all (or most) of your hitpoints from either the WoMed or WoE, catch a disease, get dropped a level in faerie abilities (not that that matters one whit, but I guess it's the principal of the thing), or have something in your inventory stolen from the WoE, and I'm not sure what all can happen to you from the WoMed. When you compare those possible outcomes to the WoK, where the worst that can happen to you is you get a useless code for your 500 nps and to your pets is they lose an intelligence point or two that can be regained through a couple different games, a random event, or by spending less than 500 nps on a book for them to read, I'd have to say I can see TNT's point. *shrugs* I think it is worth it. I've rather enjoyed the books, scrolls, windows, intelligence gains, and so on that I've gained from the wheel. But I certainly wouldn't be upset if complaints convinced TNT to lower the price of the wheel without fiddling with any of the prizes that you can get from it.
