i havent noticed any bad adds at all... since i'm avoiding all work possible, i'll do some refreshing too... (ok, i'm gonna click around rather than refresh so i dont have to load the sidebar every time)

all neopets ads. and the pages aren't loading too slowly either, considering my housemate is downloading at the moment and that REALLY slows the internet down

Okay, the banner problem just happened with me again. I don't know if its just my account or not... and, no I don't have Neopets Premium, and am not using any banner blockers.

In IE: This part of the battledome page has been wonky since the new toolbar went up. However, it's just fine and snazy in Firefox. Interestingly enough, the battledome doesn't work at all in Firefox. *shrug*

I looked at my banner block up list after playing neoquest2 for two hours and other then the page sometimes not loading at all and giving me an error (sorry, forgot what one it was, but a refresh normally helped, happens in the battledome as well) and it seemed a-ok .

edit again: Oh yeah...and the halloween theme causes FireFox to crash. Even after reboots.

Right-o. The banner thing just happened in Shops. It's not my fault, I didn't break it, promise!

Current problems I've seen.

Top flash advertisement doesn't always load, I'm getting a lot of blank spaces. It's not my connection timing out either

I've also gotten several random events that are red-ex, and it's frustrating because no one seems to know what they do.

Occassionally the yellow navigation bar (below the top banner) turns up broken. There will be a blank space, unable to click on any of the icons, and a bit of broken coding, usually in a blue font just under where it should be. I assume it's some bit of loose code somewhere, please catch it :P

I can't submit my recipe for the random contest (also mentioned in this thread), because with 25 words, about all you can make is hot chocolate :/

I've mainly been seeing Neopets things in the topbanner, but every few pages or so I'm still seeing that odd white blank banner (nothing loads in the banner space) and I'm getting a privacy report for tribalfusion that I'd posted an ss in the previous long topic.

Unfortunately, this computer was just reformatted, I didn't realize there was something wrong with the CD-ROM, so I lost just about everything - so I can't re-post that ss. Sorry!

Yes, site is slow, of course it's always a bit slower for me, being on dial up, but I did just get a RAM upgrade - have 1gig now, so it should be a little faster ... but it isn't. The topbanner is really lagging the pages. Sorry to sound like a whiner, I'm not trying to be, honest. Life was better before the topbanner I feel for all of us and yes, that DOES include you and everyone else who works so hard for all of us.

Games! Just re-read your initial post ... I just d/l DirectX9, Flash and Shockwave (all latest versions on a clean install) - the Slorg Attack Game? Does not want to load, I get a black screen for a few minutes (literally), and finally it will come up. Yes I checked, the shockwave does have that Xtra (whatever that is) and did the test on the Macromedia site and both are installed. Using IE 6 with all the latest updates if that means anything. A couple of the other games load a bit slow, but that again may just be the dial up issue.

Shops - that 100 things on a page isn't working quite right - only items that are older (so in the top 100) are showing up at the top of the shop, otherwise you have to try to go digging for whatever you wanted to buy.

The images for accepting/rejecting Neofriend requests have been missing for ages. Well, not exactly missing, just misnamed They have '50' in their URL.

That made me think of something...I keep getting ooooodles of Neofriend requests, could you look at adding a 'check all' feature? It's maddening trying to click on each request when you have bunches stacked up.

Everything is fine for me, except the Portal, which is always slow. Even that's been better lately.

One question: I have an under-13 account and I'm not a subscriber, but I only see internal (Neopets) banners. Is that because of the account age?

Hmm, I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary on my end.

well since the other day the the item server went out on NP I've been getting alot of unable to connect to server errors.

I'm unsure if it's related to the top banner, but it's definitely only been happening on Neopets.

When I go to click on a link, about 1/3 of the time, it takes me to a blank page with the word "done" on the bottom bar. About 1/6 of the time, I get a "cannot connect to server" error.

I'm running DSL on a fast computer with winXP and IE6.

It's really annoying when this happens when I'm trying to spin one of the wheels, since I have to try and guess what prize I received. It's even more annoying when I'm playing Pyramids (since Dice-a-Roo is STILL locked out to Aussies, even though the McD's thing is over), because I have to do some serious tweaking and refreshing to stop myself from accidentally drawing two cards.

*Gasp* Me too! On both of my computors. It is veery annoying.

And my Guild Member says that she can see everything on her Daughter's computor, so it must be her Imac.
