I tried submitting my recipe, but they said you can only type 25 WORDS.

How are you supposed to say how to make it ?

I just put :

Bake a white cake, then cut it to look like the tuskaninny. Add frosting, cherries, and crackers to finish it off.

I havn't gotten the stuff for mine yet. :/
I'm still not sure what to make. If I made poison jelly, what would i use for the red dots? If I did the magical ghost marshmellows, it would probably be to simple.

When does the contest end and where should I look for ideas?

Hmm... for the red dots, maybe you can use strawberry's or cherries? I'm sorry, its the only thing that popped into my mind. Awful idea, ennit.

I thought about entering, but can't decide what to try to make! There's just too many cool things.

They haven't fixed the limit for the recipe? I think that may be a site glitch. Someone said last night that they were trying to enter the pet spotlight, wrote up their story for it and got the same 25 word limit message.

i guess not. i think that would be more of a Fear Factor style challange.

I'm going to make this tomorrow. It's a bit of a copout, probably the easiest thing to make, but what can I say? I'm lazy =P

I have the proper ingredients, but I'm going to wait because, A: I'm slightly ill, B: It's 3 AM, C: I just ate a bowl of porridge, and I have no room to eat anything else (and I can't make it and not eat it =P), D: I'm going shopping tomorrow, and I can pick up some chrddar cheese, instead of this fake American cheese we have.

Everyone's ideas sound so cool. I'm not entering because I have school tomorrow and I'm too lazy. But while we're on the topic of simple things to make what about....

Hmm.. When do you think the contest will end? If I make something on Tuesday night my time that will still be only Mondayish Neopets time...

If only we got told an actual time frame for this contest.

A new contest starts every week on Friday I think.

I guess I could make something on Monday night... I was thinking of either a Faerie Festival Cake or a Jhudoras Swirling Cocktail (probably shouldn't put alcohol in it eh? ).

Although probably something with Asparagus would be good.. but everybody probably thought of that already.

Yesterday I made something I have made before, spanakopita (it means "spinach pies" its a Greek food). It is a pastry-like thing thats triangle shaped and also has cheese in. Only this time I added some asparagus to the filling, and tried shaping them differently to make them look like Spinach and Asparagus Pastys. The picture doesn't look good but they tasted good!

I already entered it, then today I had a better idea: I made a Vanilla Kyrii Ice Cream with stuff I had around the kitchen and it looked great! Now I hope I can enter again, because I want to replace my first entry with this!

EDIT: I only thought of asparagus because I had just bought some when the contest came out. But I really hope my ice cream gets in, it is *almost* as cute as Neopets Addicts Tuskaninny Cake!

FIGURED OUT THE SUBMISSION FORM!!!

Okay...it doesn't want more characters than fit across the width of the submission box. So if you have a sentence that is longer than 25 characters, it doesn't like it. All you need to do is hit enter wherever a sentence wraps to the next line. While it looks fine to you, the form sees it as a humongously long line. Hitting enter after every line will break it up to 25 characters or less.

Doing that let me submit mine just fine


Oh and for anyone wondering when the deadline is...
Last week they announced the contest on Friday, and announced the winners the following Tuesday. I would recommend trying to get your entry submitted by Sunday evening (NST).
