i bet it's a scam.. no normal person would beg.. i mean, there are the healing springs, the soup kitchen, the freebies, nothing will happen to your pets.. ever.. so it's probably a scam..

The person probably fed their pets poisonous jellies. They make your pet come down with Neomonia.
