People are always whinging that Neopets doesn't have this or doesn't have that, and so, I decided to make this board, so that people can just say what they'd like to see in Neo.

Plus, I've always found it really interesting to hear other people's ideas. Even if some of them are a little... impracticle, they're still cool

It's probably been done before, and if a topic like this already exists, feel free to lock the board monitors .


IDEA TYPE: GAME
Okay, I guess I'll start off this board with an idea of my own. I'd really, really, really like to see a 3D version of Neoquest, without all that clicking. It might actually be possible if it were a downloadable game, but it'd be waaay too much work.

EDIT: Oh and, just to make things more organised, would it be possible for everyone to put their ideas under a category?
For example, if your idea is about adding a new type of game, just write

It just makes it easier to recognise ideas

Id like to see a neo without cheaters and scammers........but I dont think thats ever gonna happen!:(

Id also like them to do something with the user shops so you can organise things better, maybe have different levels or something.

Id like more multi player games.

Id also like more easier to get trophies.

And more plots!!

I'd like to see a new freezing system to make it so us innocents who get caught in the crossfire aren't so burned. Add fines for certain crimes, and temporary freezings. Sorta like the real court system.

What if items below a certain rarity gave infinite amounts when they restock? So there might be certain food that you can buy as much as you like until the next restock. This will mainly help new players who want cheap books and battledome stuff and don't know how to restock.

I would like to se more support staff answering frozen forms. I see way to many people saying they have never recieved a response.

The new game verification systems bugs me as well. The whole issue with slow/fast computers affecting gameplay really needs to be addressed.

That'd be pretty cool, but I'd also like to see this happen to the SDB


Oooh, what about a multi-player rpg style game? Meh, I guess not. It'd be too much trouble.


More trophies! Oh yea, I'd definately love a few more of those easy to get trophies. I've got like only like 6... no 7 trophies.

And can't forget plots either. Bring back the Biff- I mean Sloth!

Bleh, TNT need more staff altogether. At least when it comes to support.

TNT almost seem to run under the impression that everyone has a fast PC. This whole speed issue is reaaly messed up.

I don't see the point of this, it will just cause massive deflation of cheap items and reduce more items to "junk" status. There are many cheap books and battledome stuff already, like sparkshooters and stuff like that.

I'd like to see a Neopets version of the Lemmings game. That would rule

I think. Then again, it's been several years since I've played a Lemmings game... my dad still has a really old computer that plays Lemmings and stuff.

I'd like to see a "Pet Relocation Service", where we could transfer our pets to gallery or spare accounts without fear of risking the pound.

i'm with that! i'ld love to be able to safely transfer pets

with the shops, i would like the unbuyable items to be separate from the buyable items, its a horror going into an account which also has a gallery in the same account, if the items were say on a level below the buyable items, it would be easier to see what you could actually buy in a shop

i would also like the idea which has be pointed out in the past, being able to "tag" accounts as secondary accounts and be able to transfer items and nps safely without fearing getting frozen, and they could simply do what they did with the mcdonald crisis in australia, block certain processes which break the rules, eg. no restocking or game score sending on secondary accounts. they've proved they can do it, also it would allow people the option of being able to possibly have the trophy for gallery spotlight in their main account

Yeah, what autechre said! (Darn good suggestions!) I love the suggestion about agging accounts, that would free up a lot of confusion.

Oh, and since it still hasn't been done, map peices REALLY should be numbered so searches don't have to be wasted...

I'd like to see something like the editorial, only with them answering questions every day!

I'd like to see ideas that other neopians have submitted as well as comments from the staff if they are actually concidering that idea. Like if someone sends in an idea and they like that idea, we can find out about it.

I wish the site were more interactive. Like, you could search around the site yourself for special events. You could look under rocks and behind things to see if anything was dropped. It would be sort of like the symol hole. Each world would have places to search. On mystery island there you could search on the beach. In the haunted woods you could search a hollow tree. Maybe your petpet could help.

Of course, I still want them to make Beneathia. And I still want Xquids and a Jester Paint Brush.

I'd like some kind of an antique shop or something run by the grey faerie. She can fix broken toys. If she fixes anything that is broken, it won't be as good but it will have a certain charm about it. You can tell it was well loved. You know, kind of like the velveteen rabbit story. It would be sort of like an antique alley. You never know what you will find there. I guess I am thinking too much along the lines of bednobs and broomsticks or Harry Potter on this. But I would love a kind of back alley flea market place. I love to look at old junk and wonder who owned it and if it is valuable or not.

Old Chest: I wonder what is inside this dusty old chest?
You open the chest and find a very old dress. It looks like something Fyora might have worn years and years ago. It is in remarkably good shape. I wonder who would want it now?

Snorkle Salt Shaker: This is a rather whimsical little charactor. I bet if you can find the Pepper Shaker, this will be worth more.

Gilded Picture Frame: You don't know who she is, but the frame is nice. Maybe you can do some research and find out who she is. Doesn't she have the most haunting smile?

See, if you have ever visited a market like this, you can find lots of stuff and wonder about things. Maybe they can ever have sort of a mini plot. Each thing they sell there can be a clue! Maybe all the things came from an estate sell of a very wealthy neopian. And now the spirits of the house will not rest until you clear their name!

(Please don't take this idea unless you are Adam, because I think I'd like to a story for the times about this, now that I think about it! )

We need more Peanut Butter Stuff! Come on, Peanut Butter is Good! If you don't want to call it that, you can call it Breenut Butter. Isn't there some nut called a Breenut?

Krawk Wok: This shop sells Noodles, Stir Fry, Hot and Spicy Soup, General Kau's Chicken (Kaus eat chicken?), Snorkle Fried Rice (This is rice that has been fried by a Snorkle..what..you didn't think we'd cook a poor snorkle did you?), Spring Rolls (Delicate little rice noodle rolls filled with flowers and stuff..tastes like...spring), Egg Drop Soup (Oops, I dropped an egg in there! ), Plain White Rice (Alone it is kind of boring, but you know you want some with your food. ).

Ok those are the Americanized Dishes. But I believe there can be other weird dishes there too:

Draik Carrots: Aww, isn't this cute! The carrots are carved into little draiks! You can't possibly want to eat this though, it is just too artistic.

But.. I must say, one item I've long wished to be able to have on Neopets is wonton soup. Because wonton soup is heaven. **nods**

Nah, I don't like toybox escape. It is a bit like lemmings I suppose but I like having loooads of lemmings and controlling the speed and stuff.. It'd have to be a near identical copy for me to be happy

Yes, what should be added Site-wise for Everyone's Benefit:

Full and complete T&C/FAQ - no vagueness, no unwritten rules, no "do as I say not as I do" stuff - like certain words used on the site but people getting warned/frozen for using them

Get rid of that topbanner completely - slows down computer, gives much trouble to people with physical problems, is annoying and unnecessary

Understand that some of us are using older computers and/or dial up and make at least games more equitable/fair

Multiple people playing on the same computer - remember that and stop freezing people for "multi'ing" or "cheating"

Being able to "link" your own accounts for pet transfers, item/np moves to secondary accounts without the worry of being frozen (see above)

Being able to enter contests/spotlites, etc. on secondary accounts ... if you have a gallery and it's not your main account, you can't really enter and really, what's 10k as a prize when you normally spend millions on a gallery? (just as an example)

In the alternative, being given the opportunity, say once a year or so to change which of your accounts is your "main" account. Tne no np sent to your main account/no games, dailies, etc. rules would stand on whichever was your main account. A one week "moratorium" on doing any rs, dailies, scratchcards, stock, games imposed before switching account type.

Autobots - take just about all of them away

"Report this message" on the boards - begone. Too many people are using that button and falsly or overreporting for just about anything and everything.

More support staff to answer questions (not autoreplies - many of which are outdated and give conflicting information or personal replies that say things like "I think", "maybe", "I don't know") and a separate section of Support to deal just with frozen accounts to investigate and unfreeze unfairly frozen in a timely manner.

Then add games, content, plots, whatever. I think alot of us would spend more time on the site and have more fun if we didn't feel like we were constantly looking over our shoulder worrying that we're breaking a rule we don't understand or know about or that someone's going to report us for something like saying No to a begger
