Oh well, could have been worse, right?

Just out of the blue, does anyone know waht Faerie Portraits are meant to do? When i use it, I get the 'nothing happens!' thing, and lose the item. So does anyone know what it does/used to do? Or is this just another one of those weird no use items? o_O

My guess is those potions used to do something cool but they got replaced by something new so now it's just an expensive item that does nothing. I know I won't be using my magic potion!!!

Most, if not all, non-bd potions are one-use, so you shouldn't have taken the risk.

Hey, if it would have done something gnarly to my pet (give it strength, hp, something else weird) I could have been one of the only people to know, then I could have bought all of the buyable ones I could and... <_< >_> But hey, everyone has to take risks, otherwise we'll never find anything out. I just didn't think there could actually be an item that did nothing then went away.
