Ashlee Simpson was the musical guest on last night's SNL. Her first song, "Pieces of Me," went by without any trouble. But on her next song, "Autobiography," someone screwed up. They evidently left the "Pieces of Me" tape in there. The result was utter disaster and hilarity.

While Ashlee looked around confused, her "voice" was playing in the background. Eventually it faded out mostly (I guess the audio guy wanted to make up for his mistake somewhat), and she resorted to doing a sort of ho-down dance before walking off stage in disgust.

On top of this extreme humiliation, later in the show, Ashlee blamed her band in true diva-style. She said they started playing the wrong song and she just went along with it. In reality, her band was doing the best they could to cover up for the audio guy's mistake. And, thankfully, she's not fooling anyone.

Truly a glorious television moment. I enjoy watching fraudulent careers crash and burn Milli Vanilli-style.

Yeah, I saw that. I was surprised that she was lipsyncing in the first place because I thought SNL frowned upon it. Oh well, another 'one-hit sensation' we probably won't hear about anymore, unless the news media decides to run rampant with this (I hope they don't).

I could almost feel sorry for her.... And she always says how she doesn't want to be like Hilary Duff... She doesn't know how alike she is.

Aww I was watching SNL last night, but decided I really didn't feel like watching her perform, so I turned it off. Now I wish I had watched it. I'm going to check out the clip now.

I usually don't watch SNL (b/c it's just gotten so lame) but I did last night since nothing else was on.. and BOY was it hilarious when that happened.
I was cracking up so much and I thought it was funny as crud when she stomped off the stage

I was watching it last night but I closed it after her first performance. I know she was lipsyncing because at the beginning of 'Pieces of Me' I heard two voices (Her real one and the one recorded on the song).

Well it's more live than I thought. I thought the segments witht he musical guests were always pre-recorded before the show actually aired. So I was surprised when I found out that the WHOLE show is live.

Wow. She must be so mad right now.

Well, i never liked her, her songs or her attitude, so

Wow. That was horribly embarassing. I wanted to record that episode because Jude Law was hosting. Too bad my Media Centre was giving me a hard time.

HA HA! I thought she was lipsyncing on the Teen Choice Awards, because listening to Radio Disney, you hear Pieces of Me alot. I wonder about Jessica Simpson though.

*just realized* Oh! Hey, Chromosome! Long time no hear from!

HAHA! I saw that last night, and wondered what happened. After doing some ridiculous hopping around on stage, she just walked off and they cut to Jude Law's picture.
Gah. One more reason I don't like her.

Hahahaha, that's hilarious. Just shows that Ashlee Simpson sucks.

Darn it! I couldn't watch it cause someone was watching CNN last nite.


Edit: Actuall i just saw it on CNNlol. Wow how embarrassing. seriously. That was sad. She walked off the stage and then her band was playing the song without her. lol. Poor Ashlee.

Serves her right, if her career is ruined by lipsyncing, shes learned the hard way XD

Darn! I missed it! I would have loved to see that because I can't stand her...she can't sing. Oh man just the thought of seeing that makes me laugh.
