Hi everyone,

Another question....LOL

I have been trying to work out how to price Maps and am stumped

Using Lab Maps as an example.. There are 9 pieces, and all 9 seem to be priced differently in ppls shops, one piece in particular goes for up round the $75K , while other pieces go for round the $58K , but if you look them up in the shop wizard the whole nine pieces are just listed under "Secret laboratory Map" so how can I work out how to price which pieces....

its not a stupid question, its just stupid how these are priced/listed.

the only way i've been able to do this is to refresh the shop wiz, and actually go into peoples shops *the cheapest priced* and have a look at which piece they are actually selling. i suggest you do it a few times though, since once i was able to get a secret lab map piece when i was buying my 3rd set for only 38k, when its true value was actually 60k since the person priced it with the cheapest price they saw i think.

The big problem with this is when you're actually trying to sell a piece of the map-
I was lucky enough to get the most expensive piece of the map from a RE, unfortunatly since that was the only piece I got it was going to be extremely HTS for its "actual" value, I ended up underpricing by quite a bit just to get it off my hands.

I really wish TNT would give them unique names (or at least numbers) - didn't Donna say something about this in the Editorial a few weeks ago?

There has been a promise (editorial) that the lab maps will soon be numbered. That will help a BUNCH!
