I'm not a huge collector either, but I do try and get them occasionally. This just makes it even harder, as I suck at getting the flash games ones.
Continuing on from Medusa's point - It's a Tombola. A lucky dip. A free one at that. I fail to see how this is giving children a negative effect. What's wrong with lucky dips? They've been around for years.
And as for the scratchcards - what's wrong with them? You don't even have to scratch them; you can sell them. Nowhere in RL does that happen. And honestly, it's also stupid. I remember, when I was 5 or 6 my dad would buy me scratchies. 10 years later, and we still do occasionally. I have no gambling tendencies whatsoever (granted, I'm not 18, but that's beside the point. I know 14 year olds who gamble).

Just make sure you keep your location registered as your non-Australian one, as long as you don't change it over to Australia you shouldn't have any problems
