No. When something is going to hit me, I get out of the way. Although I admit that, in sports, that isn't very strategic.

Yeah, It hurts when I get hit in the chest :(
But it also hurts when you get hit anywhere else really :?

I got hit right in the chest by a baseball, mind you, since I'm a girl it hurt pretty bad. Does that count? I got hit by a soccer ball in the chest too but that hurt a lot less.

Hm, well, I've been hit in the head with a basketball more than once. And in the chest, too...ouch..

I got hit in the face with a baseball once. Thank goodness it wasn't thrown too hard.

I was on a drama team a few months ago, and in one of the skits, I had to be pushed down by my friend Mark (whom I had a crush on at the time), well while we were practicing it, he pushed a little too hard, and in the wrong spot (just a little bit lower on my chest than he should have, and I really hope it was actually an accident). It hurt.

Ugh, once when I was younger and played AYSO soccer I got hit square in the face with a soccer ball. This boy (*really* strong kicker) was making a goal kick and I was about ten feet in front of him, ready to get the ball if it came my way. He kicked low and I got hit hard. It felt like my face was broken, but I ended up fine. For the rest of the season, the coach used me as an example. Whenever one of the other players (usually the boys) got injured and started whining, the coach would remind them that I got kicked square in the face with a goal kick from ten feet away and I didn't cry. :)

Soccer is the most painful sport of them all aint it...apart from the one I mentioned I can give a list of the worst injuries:

- There was this one game where I was hit close range twice in a row square in the chest (He smacked it into me, the ball bounced off, and he tried again...whack), super-winding ensused.

- Deep Bruising (Might have even been muscle trauma) just above my knee from a flying tackle an opponent made, I had a painful huge purple spot for a couple of months and a residual painful spot for almost a year.

- Metal Sprigg cuts in my right leg.

I can agree with that. My brother was always getting injured. He played for his high school team. My husband's sister played for her college and she and this other girl slammed into each other trying to get the ball and his sister broke her leg. The force of these two muscular women colliding fractured her shin bone. She was on crutches for quite a while after that.

I was kicked square in the chest, hard, lost my breath, and started crying, I thought I was gonna sufficate.
I was pushed on a chair right on the spot. Even though I'm a girl, it HURT! :?

Oh yeah...once a football/soccer goal fell on me. I couldn't breathe for a bit and the back of my head (where it hit me) ached for the rest of the day. I almost had a concussion. It's funny thinking about it now. The school nurse rolled me around in a wheel chair. Ha!

*winces* Baseballs are the worst thing to get hit with. I got hit in the face by a tennis ball once, that hurt pretty bad too.

When I play soccer it's not so much the ball that hurts me as it is the people in the opposite team. They just seem to have this joy about kicking me in the shins (which hurts like a mofo) to get the ball away from me. There's also the merriness of hair pulling and scratching... the joys of girls' soccer teams :P

I'll probably sound like a chavaunist pig but the team I was on never lost to a girls team, I often was yellow carded for using the same brute force on female opponents when tackling as male opponets...they didnt't like my theory on gender equality. Kicking people in the shins was one of all our opponents favourite activities, but thats nothing compared to this one team we played. They were Regional Reps and they had 2-3 really obnoxious little buggers that kicked you/stood on you when you were down and shoved and yelled and so forth...Soccer Memories...

Hmmm... I was hit with a tennis requet before (I was starting to serve and my arm bent and I hit myself hard with it :P).

I think I might of been hit with a kickball before, but I don't remember whether or not I did.
