I heard some where on here once that if you snail mail them they are mostly to read your letter or win a contest. I don't know if they reply back though.

I also had a friend who was thinking of doing the samething when his account was frozen. But make it a nice letter.

I'm an old member, back in the day, I use to rule the battledome board use to post on everything and be everywhere, I was popular back then. Now I'm a nobody, forgotten in the wind. Poor me.

Hi

I'm living in sing too. 8) It will take abt 7 days to reach them, and it cost less than a dollar if you are just using normal mail. The chances are that they will read your snail mail is higher. It wouldn't hurt to try.

Good Luck

Remember to print out the previous mails that you sent and those that you received as evidence. (Preferably, print them with headers. Headers show IP address.) Rewrite the letter to explain your situation and what you think went wrong. Write what you've done before you're frozen.

Try asking them if they can check the ip addresses accessing your account, so you might know at least which country the scammer is. Since you're in singapore, if the scammer is from somewhere else, you can't be 2 places at once, right? :P  Even better if you remember how you get scammed and who.

Explain that you will not risk your 1.1mill account by scamming or such? Include the email where they can contact you, your account name and whatever evidence that you can gather. Try to write down some names of your neofriends as they will need proof that the account is yours.

Since it's been 4 months, I really suggested that you send as soon as possible. The longer it is, the harder to get your account back.

Isn't 4 months ago where the password glitch happens? Someone correct me if i'm wrong. If it is so, mention this in your mail as it will increase your chance of getting it back.

In case you want to try email one more time.

yea. it was some time in may when they had the password glitch. but my account was frozen on either 10th May or 11th May. the password glitch was on.. let me look up the news..

6th April
SECURITY UPDATE - As you most probably know there was an issue over the weekend that affected a small number of accounts. If you were affected, and lost any items or Neopoints please be assured that our support team is working on setting everything straight!
Just a quick reminder that it is very important that you change your password on a regular basis. Yes, really important, and you can click here to do it!

so from this, i dont really think that it was the password glitch that got my acc "scammed" (that's what neo says when i try to log in but i dont really think it can be scammed.. my email was not broken into etc.. no signs of breaking in.. maybe because i was clearing my SDB and stocking them in my shop too fast?)

btw, mailto:bryan@support.neopets.com was the one who replied the neopets form i filled up and sent me this..

Thank you for your e-mail. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to help you with the
information you provided. Before I can help you with your situation, I need you
to give me additional information to verify that this is your account. Please... ...

=)

and, how do i get my IP address?

oh ya, and do you think like when i donated some money.. like 50k to my guild, is against the rules??

+ the problem is that my printer is spoilt for a long time and not replaced. or rather i dont have a printer since it's spoilt for such a long time and not replaced :D .
